Expert's field on Tours
Does the experts field matter when they give a tour?

For example if a botany expert runs a prehistory exhibit only tour, will the results (money/customer enjoyment etc) be worse than using a prehistory expert?

In theory it should but I haven't tested that ever TBH. You can easily test this on your own though. The tour summary should even tell you what guided people thought of the last tour. If you either have a guid with the boring trait or no training in tour guides people already complain that the tour guide seems to lack qualification and the like.

It does matter, but I don’t know how much. When you click on the tour stand, on the feedback tab, one of the positives you can get is “guide was an expert in the tour’s theme”.

I think it's a little more complicated than that. I feel that the quality of the exhibit (may be a stretch) along with the not only the tour perk/s (T1,T2,T3) but also the traits (such as dull) that the expert has and the perks that are on the exhibit itself. I've noticed that when on tour with an expert without the tour perk at T1, its pretty close to 10% (9.71%) less money from the tour than when the expert has T1. When I've done a tour with an expert of different specialization of the toured exhibit, I get about 2.5% less money from tour. That is also including the dull trait.
