How do you pick up the Spectrum Sturgeon caviar?

Spectrum Sturgeon have the trait "Delicacy Deposit" which states "Occasionally produces rainbow caviar, which can be collected and sold by staff". Sure enough, the fish have been dropping caviar all over the aquarium for a long time... but no one has ever picked it up.

I've had the aquarium for a few game-years, and I have plenty of employees of all types and traits. What's the deal?

no issues with that on my end. maybe the path is blocked with plants/deco ?

Well this is odd. I just picked up a Marine scientist and dropped them directly into the tank, and away they went, picking up the caviar! I don't know why they didn't do it before... I guess I'll call this problem solved?

same for me, not solved though, I always gotta pick it up manually.

I can't manually add a staff member. It always says "Invalid action." I can't place staff members in half of my museum at all. I'm afraid the Water Museum is bugged.

It seems (based only on my experience) that collecting the caviar is a low priority task for the marine experts. If little else needs their attention, it seems to get collected relatively frequently. But, if I'm regularly sending my experts on expeditions or having them use the analysis room, the caviar tends to build up.
