Just accidentally sold my Epic Ambered Giga-Gecko??
Sold it to a buyer looking at my museum, thinking I could just re-explore and get the item again, only to find out that it came with the game I bought? Is that correct?

Or am I missing on where I can find it again? Why would the game even suggest to sell it if I can never get it back... Game auto saved after I accepted the offer, so I can't reload it.

This exhibit actually does come from a POI, but it's unlocked later on in the Memento Mile campaign. I didn't unlock this part of the Bone Belt until the 2-star part of the campaign. It's down in the lower left area of the map, and there's an Obstruction leading to it. I'm not in-game at the moment, so I can't check.

So, you'll have a chance to get it again, just possibly not for awhile, depending on how your campaign run plays out. You don't unlock the 2-star objectives for MM until you complete one of the second museums, so it will be a bit if you're still working on your first star in Memento Mile. I can't remember what the unlock requirements for that POI.

General PSA: Don't sell your displayed exhibits to collectors, even if you're desperate for cash. Read those letters very carefully and don't just click accept. There's no way to sell from your inventory, and you won't get some of those exhibits back from POIs until much later in the scenario (as with this one). There's also no way to sell an exhibit from your inventory, and with the expedition rewards all being RNG, there's no guarantee you'll get a better one.

ETA: You're going to get *a lot* of visits from collectors over the course of the game, and they always want to buy your best exhibits. It's almost a trick, because you will *never* want to sell them (the one-time cash reward won't equal what they'll make you over their lifetime, especially the pristine ones). It's just part of the game. That's why I cautioned you to not just click through your mail really quickly. You'll get an alert in game about a "collector or enthusiast" visiting your museum to look at a specific theme in your collection and then you'll get the letter in the mail offering to buy one of your exhibits.

Thank you!! It's the Tarpit Falls with the obstruction. I just started started getting the quests to make Memento Mile two star so I hadn't unlocked it yet. I definitely learned my lesson with selling items to the collectors lol. I appreciate the help!!
