You need metal to make the item, which you can get from running expeditions to the Oreful Quarry point of interest
you mine metal in the science museum (it's the other one you unlock with the space museum. set in a desert. i think it's called bungle something or other).
specifically, you mine metal in the bungle burrows, the expedition area you get when you start that museum.
the good news is, you only need metal for the advanced drill. you can make a regular drill with just a workshop + workshop janitor.
Thanks for completely NOT mentioning WHICH Museum. You asked a question and people explained/helped you and now this thread is useless because you didn't actually say WHICH museum that helped you solve the problem. What a pointless reply you posted.
Wow, thank you for being an unnecessary jerk instead of just asking for clarification. Are you 10? Thanks @GhostWolfe for clarifying for this jerk.
I would also like to point out that the two people who "helped" me also did NOT name which museum the drill is gotten in.
They are 10. Look at their other posts and the games they play. Sorry people are jerks.
@alex010300 Same. I'd of had to load up the game to see the name of the museum but I'd of done it, if asked politely.
