Need a real SANDBOX mode

Please...give us a true sandbox where all is unlocked and available. Until then, I'm done. There are just too many hoops to jump through and I'm too old and tired for that.

I love the idea of a Campaign+ mode, but I’m pretty upset about it being called Sandbox mode if we’re not getting an actual sandbox to play in.

This! I want to be able to focus on one museum in sandbox instead having to open other museums to get unlocks and curator progression. I've been trying to do a prehistory museum in sandbox, but I can't unlock all the areas without opening other museums. The unlocks and the progression systems are fun, but could they be contained to my one museum? Other people I'm sure would like to see an option to just unlock everything in sandbox.

same here, after getting the 5 star rating on every museum, i just wanted to build a megamuseum in sandbox mode, but it seems you still have to complete stuff on other museums to progress, and that's a bummer. No need for location and maps to be unlocked etc, i can do it again, but don't force me to jump between different location, to progress in sandbox mode

Do you still have to progress with stars among all of the museums (that are also in the campaign mode) in the sandbox mode as well??? And unlock expedition locations through those??

I’ve been holding off on ranting about this because I haven’t tried the sandbox yet, but I was looking forward to “completing” the campaign (getting all five museums to a point that makes me happy) and then firing up sandbox to build a single, sprawling mega-museum of everything.

Knowing that I’m not going to be able to do that is so disappointing. If I wanted to play the campaign again.. I’d play the campaign again. That’s why I think having campaign+ is great, but if I’m going to put in the work to unlock everything and explore everything and do all the “hidden” tutorials, don’t punish me by making me do it over, just give me my sandbox.

Unfortunately, yes. It is not a real sandbox and looks to me a repeating of story mode

Hey, we're sorry for any disappointment with the sandbox mode. We introduced the three versions with sliders to let you customise your sandbox experience, but we fully understand the want for more customisation, and for a true sandbox experience.

The team has been super busy collecting feedback on this, and we've a big "mega suggestions" page which the design team refer to regularly when discussing changes.

We can't promise all changes will be made, as we're a small team! The team is aware of the want for more options and we always make sure we're feedback driven with our changes <3

Cannot agree more! We want the real sandbox, picking a land I like, build and decorate my museum there. I can accept to redo all the expedition, but why i still need to jump among all the other maps again, to unlock new levels

Yep. If there has to be a time sink, I’ll do the expeditions again, but I’d like all locations to be unlocked for me.

yes, We Want a true Sandbox with everything open just like your first two Games Hospital and Campus , Was Your Team Bigger for them games. Come on that was a lame excuse Small team. Is It Realy that hard to make everything open. make an expansion and charge 5 bucks. Or Add to Next Expansion

You know what? If they wanted you to have a sense of progression (I don't know if that's their intent, but if so), they can just let you play things you've unlocked in campaign only. And if you want more things to play with in sandbox, you have to play campaign and unlock them.

I wouldn't mind that AT ALL. But I can't imagine myself playing a sandbox mode where I have to unlock and progress through things all over again just like the campaign mode. What kind of sandbox is that????

I was also expecting the sandbox to be much how it was in Hospital and Campus. I’m fine with sandbox unlocks being tied to your campaign progression, it’s the idea of having to go through the campaign all over again that bothers me.

For Me this was a waste of my money. i stopped playing because i don't enjoy campaign. I Bought it for the Sandbox mode and this is not sandbox its just another form of campaign. like i said in my first comment there first two games is true sandbox thats why i bought this feel ripped off.

I wonder what the point of a sandbox-mode is, when one has to unlock all locations again after playing the campaign? Yes, one can modify the starting budget and alter some other parameters to have less problems with the income right from the start but it's quite tedious to unlock every expedition again. At least for me it robs the fun of a sandbox, as those normally have everything unlocked or at least all things one has already seen during a campaign/story-mode.
