plywood island, tour needs to be over 4 to unlock ... tips
Hi, anyone got any tips on how to get a tour over 4, on plywood island, to unlock the zone that it unlocks.
I am on 3.8, my exhibts are 'epic', 4/4 knowledge, 5/5 dec, and full buzz, the tour set up says everything is perfect, I've designated trained tour guides and still cant seem to get it over 4 ...
any tips?
thanks!

Tour guide is unrelated to the number of stars, it just changes the tip amount at the end. Use Pristine Exhibits, keep the tour short.
An easy way to get some pristine exhibits is to just do a bunch of expeditions to Greasy fields, since those only take 7 days.
You need prehistory exhibits to unlock some of the locations anyway.

Place the tour close to the exhibits, and the exhibits to visit in this tour also close to each other as the distance influences the rating of the tour. The longer the way the less attractive the tour will be. Focus on prestine exhibits which belong the the same exhibit group and have traits installed that boost the excitement value and also the knowlege of that exhibit. Also make sure that all of the wants and needs of the exhibits are met as this will increase the excitement value even further. Running a marketing campaign for the exhibit in question should also increase the overall rating of the tour as the stars of the exhibits are increased here as well.

One of the unique challenges of that museum is that you can't even build a marketing room. Or a camera room for your security staff. The list of rooms available is quite small, and two of them aren't worth building at all. You have the Staff Room, Training Room, Bathroom, Workshop, Cafeteria and Gift Shop as your useful rooms, and can only hire prehistory and botany experts.

When I did that museum, I went with 3 pristine fossils that I got from Greasy Fields. It's easy enough to get them if you do the long mission. Personally, I found this to be the hardest museum to get Gold on. You really need the After Life Academy unlocked and use it to train your staff to have any hope at all.
Use 1 Pristine fossil,at max decor. The tour can hit 4 with just one item in the chain much easier.

The most important parametre is buzz. Try with 1 reconstructed dino with very high buzz. full decoration and - if needs be - run a marketing campaign for that particular type of exhibit.

You don't need a reconstructed dino for this museum, and since you're on a timer it's a terrible idea to try for one. And you can't run a marketing campaign for this museum either since you can't build a marketing room.

Fair enough. I did it with three since you need three anyway (not necessarily pristine) to complete the mission.

Ah, didn't notice it was one of the pop-up museums. In that case just go with a tour of one single item with as high buzz as possible and decorate it fully.
