Frogsworn Effects

Sorry if this has been asked and answered, but Google was no help.

Does the Frogsworn curse debuff affected staff? I’ve got an expert walking around with froggy legs and I haven’t cured them yet because it makes me laugh. The tooltip doesn’t indicate that it causes problems, am I fine leaving them like that?

I've heard it just makes them walk slower.
