How to assign staff to sea monster aquarium?
My memory's super bad, I know they mentioned it in the pop up tutorial, but now I can't find it no matter what I click on the aquarium, and zoning doesn't stop other staff from entering the aquarium. Can't find the answer anywhere else so... some help please?

Same problem here. I have a seamonster now and I dont know how to handle.

Is it under staff responsibilities?

+1, had the popup talking about that, but have no idea how to do that.

You need the perk that looks like a scuba helmet. I have them assigned to manage the tanks and they and take care of them.

I've done the fish museum, I saw that popup, but I haven't noticed any difficulty with the staff or the fish by completely ignoring it. It says that low ranking staff get freaked out by them, but it doesn't seem to stop them from performing their task

I believe it depends on staff seniority. So if your Experts have the 'Aquarium Maintenance' tick box checked and are Junior (Up to lv 9? I *think*) they will suffer the ill effects of various Sea Monsters more than staff who don't have Junior in their job title. I believe it also affects janitors fixing water pumps.

Just drop a janitor on the object in the aquarium [you won't drown him]. If he is capable of doing the job hell now wear a diving suit and will proceeed with fixing stuff.
The low ranking staffers just get drained of energy faster when near a dangerous exhibit. So you might want to build a staff room pretty close to the fish tanks with the dangerous exhibits.

Same problem. Contrary to the tips in the pop up tutorial, there appears to be no way to restrict aquarium access to high level staff. I've clicked on the aquarium, the monsters inside the aquarium, the door to the aquarium, and I see nothing. I've tried zoning the aquarium to high level staff and low level staff continue to walk in there.

You can assign staff to Food Dispensers. I think that’s what they were referring to. You can’t assign water filters, though, so even if you do assign the feeder to a high level staff member, when the filter needs tuning, the next available staff member is still going to head in there. It would make more sense if staff were assigned to the aquarium.

don't worry about tutorial, people just lose energy while working there.
level 5 people had no problem and just sometimes had icon with energy lost - easy to spot. I throw them to rest at that point and had no issues otherwise. Close staff room should be enough if you don't want to manualy move people

Update: a bench right next to the door would help too! I noticed low energy staff members sit down at the closest bench to recover energy if they don't have enough to get to the staff room. Still, it feels weird to be told "Don't let low level staff enter!" and not really have a straightforward way to do that... Looks like we all just ended up trying to mitigate the issue. But hey if it works, it works!

Agreed, this is what I do and I've never run into any significant problems. Sometimes I'll have a janitor go in to upgrade some equipment in the aquarium, need to leave due to low energy, sit at a bench right outside, then go back in to finish the job once he's rested.

Same, when they complain I just increase their pay and they shut up.
