Me being a huge MMORPG fan, these types of games normaly come to my attention quite early in Beta. This one just slipped through, and me not knowing about it tell very recently. I've put 60 hours into it in the last 2 weeks. I've basically stopped playing every other game just to play this one. This game is very addicting, although kind of slow at the beginning. Now, I know what all the hardcore players will be saying. 'WoW was the first and best RPG.' Not true. Other people like other things, yes. So I urge you monster hunting fans to give RaiderZ a go. One huge turn off to me is that it came with a gamegaurd, probaly the worst one too. nProtect Gamegaurd. I'll get to that later though. Being an addicting game, RaiderZ will appeal to all monster hunting fans. It isn't a toolbar bashing game either. It can be, but it mostly is pressing a button to combo most of your attacks to one big one. Now, playing 60 hours in 2 weeks is kindof alot right? Well, considering of how much time I've played in the last few weeks, I haven't came across any game breaking bugs. Which is suprising, honestly. The level cap is 40, which doesn't seem like a whole lot. But me putting 60 hours into the game got me to about level 25. Meaning, its hard to level.

Some features of RaiderZ-

- 5 classes (Defender, Beserker, Cleric, Mage, and Assassin) and theres been some talk about a hunter
- Interesting looking armour for each class
- Great PvP
- Great leveling system
- Skill tree is interesting
- If you mess up your skill tree you can reset and and get all your skill points back
- Can mix classes (meaning you can have a tank who also heals)
- Warzone once you reach level 23
- Amazing monsters
- Great boss battles
- Challanging dungeons
- Good community

Now, back to Nprotect Gamegaurd. Yes there are some bad things that come along with it. But the worst thing is it breaks Google chrome while your playing RaiderZ. Which isn't really a big deal, if your like me and like to listen to music while doing some quests. Just use either a mobile device or another browser. Simple. (:

Of course, it being a game in general it has some annoying aspects aswell like...

- Once your reach warzone, level 30-31's kill you while your level 23
- Once in a while grinding of mobs and dungeons
- Most Clerics (healers) don't know what their doing
- Not as many mounts as I'd hope to be
- Kindof pay-to-win
- Monster textures/skins re-used
- NPC textures/skins re-used
- Voice acting is kindof weird
- Random frame drop while in Ingen and while PvP'ing

If those don't matter to you, because they don't matter to me. Then this game is for you. I completely reccomend this to anyone who wants to try another RPG because you won't be dissapointed. If anyone would like some ingame tips, my name in game is.

Ive been playing this game for about a week now , the game style is good what i expected from a game made by perfect world not surprised you grind to lvl 15 then thats when the group play starts ... i get that "learn the game before letting other ppl carry you through it", that has never bothered me. i Love the Style combos the huge monsters and, fighting eye candy. its a beautiful game plz dont let a few bad experiences ruin the chances this game has to offer. GameGuard is nothing to be scared of , im running windows 7 on a computer that is 5 years old and i can alt tab out and nothing crashes.... all the reviews where ppl where talking about how awful the game runs , i just dont get it, i read the bad reviews AFTER i started playing this game is a see 0 resemblance to any bad reviews posted here i dont know what game they are talking about , but in my opinion it isnt this one.

The reviews where ppl are unhappy with the way the games play all i have to say is 'to each his own' and leave t at that , at least they tried it

I only have ~4 hours and I am level 8, but so far the game has been really nice and has not told me to spend any real money.

Now after 120+ hours I am having a pause. The game was really good the whole time. Only things you need to spend real money on are costume items which only affect your looks.

Why did I ever quit? This game is perfect. This game has the best menus I have ever seen. Everything can be done really fast with just keyboard and without moving your mouse all over the screen to buttons. It's so smooth! Raiderz also has the nicest community ever. Even with the small amount of people there always seems to be someone to help and explain things for the new players. And this game has actual hitboxes. Even real AAA games like the Elder Scrolls: Online failed at actual hitboxes but this gem has them. Why isn't this getting updated anymore? Why isn't this more popular?

I have played this game in Perfect World Entertainment's Client quite a bit so my play time does not reflect the actual amount of time I have spent with the game.

A lot of people are complaning about technical problems, I have played this game for hundreds of hours and installed it on a few different machines and have never had a single issue. I feel that this is an issue where those who have problems are reporting them and those that are not are simply posting nothing so you largely just see those who have technical problems posting these reviews. If you do have technical problems then I am very sorry for you are missing out on an entertaining experience.

Is this game worth installing? Yes, if you have even bothered to scroll down this far it is worth installing, if you are interested in playing a straightup "action" MMO then RaiderZ can give you that. It is the closest we have yet come to a monster hunter game in the west and it lives up to that comparison.

The game's support has fallen off but there are still occasional updates and server restarts. Hackers do dominate PvP but you can now bypass "forced" PvP sections entirely.

It's a really good game, but need some atention from the producer, this game is almost dead

I'm sorry but most of these 'reviews' are overly critical.

Where to start... How about here: MONSTER HUNTER FANS! If you think Tera is any better well let's just say last time I played Tera it was a mindless grindfest of an MMO with no questline or objectives. In RaiderZ there's actually a questline to go with and grinding is optional, not so much for Tera as mentioned before for those with a short attention span seeing as to how the critiques made previouse seem to be made by people with half a brain. As for the crappy textures everyone is complaining about, I don't think any you have any real experience editing or creating textures, on max detail it looks fine, it isn't astounding, but it's fine. Water is extremely hard to recreate and animate and is a NIGHTMARE for people attempting to do so and snow can have it's issues as well. As for the combat... The combat in this is more like Monster Hunter than Tera by a longshot and if you disagree then I find it extremely hard to believe you even know what Monster Hunter is.

The textures shouldn't matter if you're a Monster Hunter fan seeing as how ALL of their games have bad textures and poor visual quality, I would also like to point out that every MH game has similar voice acting to this. And if you're talking about the English Translations it's not exactly good to complain here because almost all translations sound like crap. At least these are legible and coherent unlike a lot of MMOs. These issues are more relevant to Tera than the Monster Hunter franchise. Now for one thing that irritates me... "Worst MMO On the market."

Want the worst MMO on the market? Go play Runescape 3 where it mentions a free to play model when the reality is you have access to 20% of the content or less unless you subscribe, go play Lunia which has horrible balancing between their classes. Maybe go play Angels Online or some other obscure and poorly made MMO. RaiderZ one doesn't fit worst MMO at all and that's not even critique, that's just spewing BS and making false statements about the game since A: Worst game is subjective and an opinion and B: There are so many games that are SO much worse.

And I've played most of the MH games (Favorites are MHF2 or MHP3rd) exceptions being a few I still have to import from Japan and MH3U, so don't call yourself a fan because clearly you aren't if these are you're complaints about the game, because none of the MH games do anything better about the things that you may have complained about. I will go as far as to say that in Monster Hunter the monster design is worse seeing as most of the bosses (Baggi, Jaggi notably early on in Tri or MH3U) are recolored and renamed slightly. The world isn't as nearly as expansive either.

You aren't in my eyes a credible critic if you can't make an unbiased review, the job of a critic is to inform people of a games flaws rightfully, so the developers can fix these issues and the consumers are informed of them. Most of these 'reviews' and 'critiques' are whining about graphics and Game Guard.

Want my critique? My complaint with it is the lack of boss fights or if you will 'Big game' and the fact that no one plays it, that's it. The rest can't be argued fairly and shouldn't be compared to other games because this isn't like other games. It brings elements from MH, C9, Tera and Dragon's Nest and is it's own game in this regard.

Give it a try and if you don't like it because it's not your type of game, say so, don't make BS statements and find reasons to complain about the game, because when people do this and call themselves critics they make real critics look bad.

First of all, I want you to know that everyone that did not recommend this game, did it because of techinical problems, everyone that actually played it loved the game.

Pros:
- Chance for the enemy weapon drop on the ground so you can use it for a limited amount of time and with its won set of skill.
- Dynamic quest system to tell you the game history and change the world acourding on how much deep you are, so you will always be near mobs and player neat your lvl.
- Easy to lvlup with quests, no grinding.
- Sandbox action, block, roll, atack without target.
- Easy to aquire weapons and armor, all npc will make the item with a amount of gold and some ingredients, that you can find on the basic mobs with a very good drop chance, and you can copy the recipe so the game will tell you not only with ingredients, but wich mob drops what. So even silly quest, like go there, kill x guys, come back, gets cool, becouse you will looking for the loot.
- Not stancied
- Loot is not shared but multiplied, everyone on the party will get full loot.


Cons:

- Engine runs fine on low and medium settings, but on high, the visual is not that good, and gets laggy.
- NPCs audio dialogue are terrible.
- Too easy, you will only make a party to get more loot, you can pretty much solo everything on the game

It is very good and free, so... 8 / 10

Primeiro lugar eu quero que voce saiba que todos que não recomendaram esse jogo foi pro problemas tecnincos, nguard e etc... ninguem que de fato jogou achou o jogo ruim, pelo contrario, ele é muito bom... vale a pena...


Pros:
- Chance da arma do mob cair no chão e voce poder usar-la por um tempo limitado já com um set de skills proprio.
- Sistema de quest dinamico, com ela voce vai vendo a história do jogo, e ainda divide voce dos players que estão mais a frente ou mais atras da história assim como mudar os mobs do mundo para uma versão mais adequada em que parte da história voce está, muito bom, assim sempre vai ter mob ou players na mesma faixa de nivel que voce.
- Facil upar sem grind, fazendo as quests, assim não fica repetitivo.
- Ação sandbox, voce vai defender com ou sem escudo, rola para esquivar, e mesmo com o lag fica tudo possivel.
- Muito facil voce conseguir seus itens. Sistema de venda de armas e armadura é bem dinamico, cada bixinho que voce mata dropa ingredientes para voce criar itens nos npcs, logo não tem item pronto, overpower, todos tem acesso aos mesmos igredientes via pve e podem criar o que quiser. Assim, mesmo algumas quests daquelas não dinamicas, do tipo vai lá mata x mobs e volta, fica interessante, pois voce fica empolgado com o loot de cada kill, e ainda voce poder carregar a receita dos npcs para o jogo te avisar o que voce pode criar e de qual mobs cai aquele ingrediente.
- Não é instaciado, somente em quests solo, o é perfeito
- Quando em party o loot é multiplicado, todo mundo pega full do mesmo bixo, voce não precisa dividir os itens.


Cons:

- Qualidade gráfica parece de um jogo dx9 2007 e é pesado na qualidade maxima por nenhum real motivo, eu com 16gb ram e 2 placas de video com 2gb cada, sdd 500gb , recebo de forma descarada a mensagem que tenho pouca memória e devo rodar o jogo em low, dá para rodar no maixmo em quase tudo menos sombra em distancia a ser vista, engine podia ser melhor, mas em qualidade média até um intel hd graphics 4000 on board roda perfeito.
- Maioria dos npc com dublagem horrivel, parece que voce está vendo um daqueles filmes de kung fu dos anos 70 versão brasileira hermes e renato, mas não atrapalha o jogo, só faz voce sentir vergonha dos produtores.
- Muito facil, voce somente vai fazer party para pode fazer o milagre da multiplicação do loot, caso esteja competindo por um semi boss com outros players, mas voce pode solar qualquer coisa no jogo. Saudades de dark soul 1.

É bom e de graça... Nota 8/10

For all the reviews that make you suspicious of trying the game because of GameGuard, note that GameGuard is not going to log your every move. That is not the purpose of GameGuard. GameGuard is only running while you are playing the game. GameGuard is used for several games, such as, Rohan: Blood Feud, Lineage II, 9Dragons, Cabal Online, Phantasy Star Universe, GunZ: The Duel, Flyff, Rappelz, Luna Online, PangYa, Prius Online, Ragnarok Online and Alliance of Valiant Arms. The only thing GameGuard does is make sure that you are not trying to manipulate the game by hacking. Valve would never put their company at risk by supporting games that will harm your computer.

"It's NOT a key logger in a sense what most of us think what a key logger is. It doesn't record your keystrokes and sells the information to other companies. Come on, you know better than jumping into conspiracy theories. It's a anti-hacking program that prevents you from playing their games if you are using a program the game deems "hacking software material" for that said game. That is what the so called "Key logger" looks for when you are running their games. If you are going to moan about GameGuard, you aren't the first and you are 7 years too late into the party.

If GG is so bad, why is it even in a game that Valve allowed to be hosted in Steam? Maybe because Valve acknowledges the effectiveness of GG AND it's a well known reliable Anti-Hacking tool that smaller companies can afford in such a low budget and can't develop their own in-game anti-hacking tool like VAC is to Steam."

I have played RaiderZ since the Alpha testing stage. The game play of RaiderZ is unique and the game is enjoyable. The "monster mash grappling system" is one of the reasons I love the game so much. You have to dodge attacks and think about your every move. This is not your typical point and click MMORPG where you right click an enemy and wait for it to die.

The class system allows you to have a greater amount of freedom than most MMORPG's. You can stick to one set of class skills or you can be a hybrid class. For example, you can have the skills of a healer and a berserker.

The graphics are beautiful and if you do not have a computer with decent enough power then your game is going to run terribly. Different problems can occur while playing the game (just like with any other game). However, in my personal experiences with the game, it has never crashed my computer or my web browsers (Chrome/Mozilla). The only problems I experience with the game are the loading errors.

This is only a free to play game, for what it offers, it's pretty incredible. I definitely recommend trying it. If you have concerns about trying the game because of GameGuard, don't let that stop you. If you are going to let something stop you from trying the game at least let it be something reasonable, like the lack of updating.

There can be issues with logging in and issues when loading into new instances or areas. Sometimes you might have to close the game and reopen it. The updates are extremely slow, but they're still coming. They also continue to hold events regularly. The cap level is only 40, hopefully they continue to update and increase it. There is not much to do after you reach the cap level unless you are one of the people who want the best of the best gear. If that's the case then you can boss repeatedly for extremely rare items.

This game is awsome! The Bossmonsters are designed way cool and the combat system is unique, I'd like to list some of the pros and contras now...

- by a patching mistake you can run the game only on medium graphics whil using AMD
- not as many players as it once was (WOULD LIKE TO CHANGE THAT)

+ beautiful world
+ the group-dungeons are challenging
+ nice Story
+ teamplay is importent against Bosses

I'm surprised that not a lot more people play this game in all honesty. I've read a lot of negative reviews prior to downloading it, but decided to give a go anyways. I was pleasantly surprised! I'm going to hit on a few different things that got me to that conclusion.

At that time of writing this, there's an issue with the steam launcher variant of the executable, but there is a workaround (hence why it says my time in game is only like 10 minutes or so because it's not running directly through steam now). I believe that this issue should be given some attention as the computer novice demographic are having a hard time wrapping their heads around the concept of the said workaround to get the game to work right past character selection (seriously, just hit the path and it works fine -> C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RaiderZ\Raiderz Launcher). There's also a supposed issue with the login. It states ID up at the login box; however, do not be fooled. It wants the email address that is linked with the ID you've created, not your actual ID name. Upon testing out that theory, I was able to log in just fine. Out of optimism, I'm under the assumption that half of the trivial issues being neglected has to do with how the game switched hands and how their company is ran. It's no longer just PerfectWorld, but now also Arc... or is it just Arc because PerfectWorld got bought out? I dunno... didn't look to much into it, I just noticed there's some shifts in the company going about. Games are usually impacted in some sort of way when this happens (ie. THQ going bankrupt and selling their franchises off, which delayed all of those releases).

After waiting for Tera to come out for... I don't know, 3-4 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ years?... I was horribly disappointed. However, this game is what I was hoping would actually be. The combat is a lot more fast-paced, engaging, fun, and challenging- thankfully. I'm not a fan of the "press-tab-to-select-a-target-and-sit-there-for-10-minutes-while-the-game-auto-attacks" (ie. WoW and most other MMO's). The game seems to be a bit fetch-quest-grindy in parts, but then again, what MMO doesn't these days? I've played a lot more MMO's that have that a lot worse ever since World of Warcraft started that nonsense... which is why I'm pretty picky about MMO's.

The classes are pretty straightforward and easy to understand what you're getting yourself into upon creation. Gender and facial customizations, but nothing too crazy. No race customization... I'm not sure if it's good or bad because I just thought about it as I was writing this review lol. I guess if you've seen a million teens play female elves with huge racks, then you're not really phased because race doesn't mean ♥♥♥♥ at that point (*cough* Tera *cough*).

The monsters are pretty fun to fight against. There are a lot of big monsters that smack you around and do a lot of damage, which I hear is riminiscent of Monster Hunter (I never got to play that game). I dunno... something about killing big monsters is appealing to me instead of constantly reading big wall-of-death text in fetch-quest screens that no one ever really reads anyways.

There is an incentive to have a friend tag along with you, but not as hardcore as Final Fantasy XI. The game is able to be solo'd, but not as easily as other MMO's (especially Tera & WoW). There's some sort of median that is hit, hence there's another appeal of this game for a player, such as myself, who likes to play with other people... I just wish there was more people on!

I've read some things about this game being wonky on AMD cards. I have this game installed on my rig and my wife's rig; I run 1gb NVidia and she runs 1gb AMD: both work fine. With that said... I have no idea what them people are griping about, but I'll leave the topic alone from here on out as it works for us.

I've yet to have a problem with nProtect eating up resources and keeping things from opening, nor has it done anything negative to my computer in the slightest. Maybe there's too many conspiracy theorists making reviews for this game, or their paranoid that their child porn stash will be discovered (nProtect was funded by the CIA afterall). Whatever it may be, nothing negative has come of nProtect being involved with this game.

A negative is that all I've seen in game chat is bots trying to sell gold... just spamming the living ♥♥♥♥ out of chat with their ad. This can be remedied by turning the channels they spam in off... which is like 2/3's of all the chat channels in the options.

_TL;DR_
Try the game out. It's free and a lot more fun that others are making it out to be. Here's to hoping that the company in charge of this game gives a ♥♥♥♥ and continues working on it to make it better- and possibly bring it back to life.
