It's obvious based on the reviews, the information on the reviews, messages about the reviews.
You can tell it's a false positive by reading information about false positives.
Also, using Google with "Is <insert game name here> a virus." is a good way to learn.
Also, AVast is a better virus scanner than AVG.
AVG tends to miss stuff, and also has a lot more false positives.
And I used to use AVG for 7 years. :)
I know all about it's issues.
But yeah, if you think this game has a virus, a game released on Steam, you need to do more research.
It's not a lie considering I got the same warning myself. Take a look yourself[i.imgur.com] if you don't believe OP. I am betting on a false positive but the post isn't fake.
But yeah, False Positives are annoying, and they lead to crazy angry posts on a forum. :)
What are you talking about?
This game as far as I know is not full of viruses, all the people complaining have gotten false positives.
There are not hidden programs to my knowledge.
I was talking about softwares, which are installed hidden on your pc. Technically these people are right, this is a virus. A trojaner better said.
So my question again, is this still a thing?
Everyone claiming to get a virus has gotten a false positive.
There is no virus, at all.
Did you read this thread? Any posts besides the OP?
There has never been a virus in this game download, it would have never been on steam in the first place.
As for a hidden program, no, there are none. Because as stated, no viruses.
No Trojan, no malware, no issues at all.
If you mean the Game Guard program from another topic, it might still be here.
My apologies. I thought you meant a hidden program like a virus/etc.
But I don't know if the Game Guard actually qualifies as what you meant.
Legal torrents of course!!
