Can Boss Thunder Rex add a drop?

Can Boss Thunder Rex add a drop? I really want its lightning chain skill. Lightning school is all single damage skill, lack of AOE skills, Damage output lag.

Amazing timing, we actually just got out of a meeting discussing Aeromancer skills and are looking into the visual possibilities of lightning AOE skills. We'll also be adding the lightning chain skill for the player but likely not able to be obtained until the later game as it's very powerful.
