There was close to a 5 hour Twitch stream by one of the devs only 6 days ago ... still hard at it, for anyone that's curious.
Sorry but we have all heard that one before many times. If I had a Nikel for every time I have heard that then I would have had my refund by now lol.
It has now been OVER A YEAR since any real in game updates added, so you can say your working, make a stream or whatever, but if you do not update the game, then technically you have not done anything yet. You can say your doing everything in the world, but if you do not implement the work, then of course everyone will think that nothing is really happening. You can not go this long with no update to the game and not expect paid customers not to question what is going on and how are they using my money to make the game I paid in advance for. No one paid for the attempt, we paid for the final product, years ago.
Also calling people kids because they have a difference experience or opinion than you, well no offence but kind of make you look like the whining kid, you guys seem to do this alot, insult, then say the same thing about streams and discord, If you come in here and whining all the time about others with a different outlook than you, that's a bit hypocritical don't you think.
I do not like what you say and you do not think what I think, Wwaaaggghhhh.
We both (and 5,450 others) that backed the original project on Kickstarter, were disappointed when the project didn't reach its release, due to mismanagement or whatever. But as I understand it, the current Devs were not running the project back then?
Please correct me if I'm wrong ...
The fact that these guys chose to pick it back up and keep working on an otherwise abandoned game, to me is more than admirable.
The last time I checked it was now only $8 or so on Steam ... almost the price of 2 Costa coffees.
Calling someone out on their "bad" experience is wrong, yes ... but what has he experienced? It's not even on his game list so it's not as though he/she has lost out on their $8 ... and if a game is that bad, Steam allow you to refund anyway.
You don't have to "like" what I say, and yes we do think differently ... so, thanks for your comment.
Not sure why anyone would trust anything about this project for one more second. He is the common denominator in this entire project and clearly the problem.

''I appreciate your perspective, I was pointing out that whining or complaining about anything achieves very little, and I think is childlike ...''
I think in this case, the user (Sara) is making a sarcastic remark/post to voice what they are feeling about the game and project, some just do this in different ways. By them making a joke about it, there might be some truth to it, but it might be their way of being lite hearted about it, but still making a point about the issue they feel is a problem, e.g. they think its taking to long for updates. Might be there way of dealing with it. Some like to use humor (if we find it funny is another time all together) but it should be ok for them to voice it.
If you and I think its not the right way to go about it, still might be the best option for them.

It is the same lead dev and the same person from the start. Only some people left and started there own I believe call Vein.

We will have to disagree here sadly, If you take money, you need to provide a product, your not getting money for the attempt, EA games does not mean that, you still have to finish the job or it looks very bad on the person/s but to provide a product they said (not me or anyone else) you can make and will make and deliver.
Abandoning it the pick it back up it the opposite to admirable to me sorry, it giving up after you have been paid, mismanage it or whatever, You are kind of obligated to finish it now, or it will reflect badly, bad for their career and name, and you will get people upset they did not get what they paid for, in some countries this is still classed as illegal, especially if you sold it on a 3rd part site (lie they did) that is not steam, and charged tax on it for that country, the consumer law it that country overrides any EA I don't have to finish it (e.g. Australia, countries in the EU) so lawsuits could happen if not finished.

While it might be cheap to you and you are willing to ride it off, this might be alot more to someone else. I also think some people just do not like to not get what they paid for, and do not like being promised things and not to get it.
They paid for it, they want to get what they paid for and where promised. Seems fair to me. If they see no progress (progess is real game updates not talk and streams and more promises) or anything then they will think they have lost their money they worked for. Alot of people in the world do not like that.
And for some that will be enough to not give up on getting what they paid for and calling out the project to try and get what they paid for, as this is all they might be able to do. Provide feedback and voice their disappointment in the hope it might get finished and get them to work on it.

Answer to number 4 applies here so will not repeat, but they did also sold on indigogo/kickstarter and also on their own website (this might end up being their downfall, as taxes paid made them liable to other countries consumer laws) with special packs/extras and also paid more than $8.
The package I got cost a hell of alot more than that sadly. We can not get any refunds or use steam to help for a refund sadly. They have closed refund from other places a while back. Here is the only place some might think they can voice their frustrations. And they should be allowed as paying customers, and who cannot get a refund or anything, and feel they might get nothing at all. How else can they do to keep the project/team honest. Doing nothing and saying nothing will not fix it, so they come here in the hope this might.

Totally agree and thank you for your reply. You do not have to agree with me as well, I hope that we can except all opinions and experience and understand where we are all coming from, and hopefully the outcome of this is people get the game they wanted and promised. And ideally, I would like to see everyone's opinion get heard, as that is feedback. Bad or Good feedback, it still needs to be heard and free for all to say. If they do not hear us, then nothing might get done.
I just think people just want that Zombie game they were promised, cause we all like survival/zombie games to play.
How can steam allow me to refund when a lot of bought this indigogo or whatever and it's actually 20 bucks on steam.
I was only on about new users can get a refund if they don't like the state of the game in it's current form, the rest of us either wait it out or just write it off.
