What makes it different to all the other tower defense games? It's usually not a genre I like either.

It is an extremely nice mix of tower defense and RPG elements. Your "towers" are warriors, amges, etc. Your "towers" level up and you can assign new skills and equipment to them. It has a much gentler learning curve that most tower defense games out there. The story lines of most twoer defense games is severaly lacking, but this game has a great story that can be hilarious at times. This is just an all around great game.

I am a huge TD fan. Not a lot of TD games have this kind of humor. Or where each "tower" has its own personality (not counting the generic ones). Or a lot of TD games the towers are literal towers and just stand there with very little to no movement. Also very few will have a skill tree like this. At most they may have two trees and 3-4 skills, buy buy the skill and never upgrade it. It only gets better buy upgrading the tower during a game. I love a lot of what this team has put together for this game.

I like how it feels like your leveling your character and your army, err well that is what your doing. I like the fantasy aspect of it and the cut scenese are cool too for the story. The story helps pull in some immersion.

The fact that you can pause it is great, not sure if I woulda bought it if you couldnt pause.

You can also customize the look of all your followers when you first get them.

Just try the free demo ;)

Yes RPG system about DQ is mainly reason because i like this game.

If you don't like how your static heroes fight its normal you hate game & in other side, its because you enjoy how statics heroes fight you like it too much. I like classes in that order :

1) Rangers
2) Ice Mages
3) Healers
4) Dragons
5) Knights
6) Berserkers

Now my mages got "blizzard" i'am wondering if ice mages are "better or not" than rangers. But all its question of range. Because ice mages use heavy armors like knights they are awesome front line (with of course healers not so far from them ^^).

Yeah, I think I really enjoy the progression system of this game. Like I feel that I'm making progress. Between the decent storyline plus having the characters level up, it's kind of cool.

I thought like most games when you play through a new game on a harder level it would be the exact same game. Nope, not with this. Most is new, but there are new areas and cutscenes. Way to go devs. Really made this different and refreshing in so many ways.

The story hooked me. Its really well written light hearted and humorous. Ive litterally laughed out loud several times clicking through the dialogue. I have never really liked a tower defense game before this. The demo led me to buy the game and I can honestly say I am really glad to have supported this title.
