Saves missing

When i started game it asked if i want to enable cloud saves, i clicked yes and now my saves are gone, WTF?

Are you able to find your Defender's Quest saves here? https://store.steampowered.com/account/remotestorage

Or, is it possible they have been backed up here and you can import them? C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\LevelUpLabs\DefendersQuest

If not, it seems like Steam itself made an error and deleted your progress. Sorry that happened. :/

Unfortunately no, it looks like they were ovewritten with save that i made 6 years ago (15 minutes played time). Checked also the steam folder and the appdata and both have same save old save. I am very discouraged to play the game again if i cant trust it to save my progress.

I was halfway in NG+ without recruiting any additional heroes and wanted to finish this before i try sequel. Why you would even put such options in game that overwrite your saves and make it pop-up question when you start game? There wasnt even any confirmation/warning - be careful your saves will be overwritten etc...

The only other thing I can think of is if your computer keeps automatic backups of files, you might be able able to restore the file.

If you would prefer, though, my current Hero Mode save is about 1/4th of the way through NG+. I could upload that for you, if you don't want to go through the normal game again.

Actually, here is my save all the same. I haven't 100% Normal Game with it and the NG+ run is fairly early, and the characters aren't maxed, but it should help you get back to where you were quickly enough.
