1) I'll start with what's already there. Data Vault update. Overall, the concept is interesting, but its current implementation looks like an attempt to artificially retain players at the expense of challenges that require a lot of time. In addition, some of them are simply incredibly difficult (for example, the challenge with a frag grenade) or simply absurd (the challenge with a hook for the vanguard, I don't think I need to explain that this hook is used not so much for killing, but to get to certain places on the map and gain a certain advantage over opponents). I'll say right away, I did all the research, although it took a lot of time (not the most pleasant, by the way), but in my opinion, the developers should reduce the price of research from 9 to 5 points, this will be a more loyal and less burdensome concept for players (especially beginners).
2) PvE mode. A new map + new weapons is always good, of course, but as a way of full-fledged development, in my opinion, it is doubtful. In addition, given the fact that the developers somehow force you to play the same PvE missions several dozen times (hello Data Vault Challenge, considering that I have already played at least a dozen times in each mission when I leveled each class). Personally, I have long been tired of this mode, in a new mission, I will play 1 maximum 2 times and that's it, I will not level a new weapon, I will wait for it in PvP mode. By the way, about leveling weapons: it is leveled exactly as much as it takes to level one class of a space marine, which in my opinion is not proportional, leveling weapons should be faster so that you have time to play several types of weapons for leveling a class. Perhaps introducing a new class will revive my interest in playing in this mode, for example, the other day I watched a video on YouTube showing gameplay as a Terminator (yes, it's a mod, but it looked pretty cool). I think the developers should think about this.
3) PVP mode. In my opinion, this is what should keep players in the game, but now it seems dead to me. Signs of this for me are a long wait in the lobby, first a long search for the lobby continues, and then a long replenishment of teams continues, and it is not a fact that they will start the game in full. It is difficult to say why pvp is dead, but I really like this mode, it is quite good in my opinion (moderately dynamic, fast matches and all that). I will say one thing that the desire to balance the lobby (distribution of beginners-experienced players) is generally a good idea, but will it be effective with such a number of players in the mode? Although I assume that with the release of the update the number of players will increase significantly.
Completely private lobbies - well, a very dubious initiative. Maybe it's cool for some geek communities, office communities by the way (I remember when we played cs 1.6 or cs go in the office, those were good times) but no more. Even if I gather all my friends, there won't be enough of us for a completely private pvp match with a full team.
Maybe it's worth introducing new classes (terminator for example), new maps (by the way, I really like the pvp maps in this game), rebalancing and improving existing things, who knows. Although you know, there are a few ideas. Maybe it's worth increasing the number of players on the map to 10, since usually the match lasts on one flank, it's very rare to see a transfer from flank to flank, and I wanted the carnage to be all over the map and everywhere. And of course, I think the customization of the Chaos Space Marine will significantly revive interest in pvp, but that's in the next point.
4) Customization. The developers stubbornly ignore the issue of customization for the Chaos Space Marines. I can't help but feel that this faction exists in the game only to justify the presence of a pvp mode. The Imperium Space Marine faction has already received a lot of updates, while the Chaos faction remains unchanged. I don't understand what the problem is with untying the Traitor Legions from specific classes, adding a few helmets, shoulder pads, armor, and legion symbols (including the Chaos Warband). I know that the developers tried to answer this topic somewhere, saying that this contradicts the canon, because there are no Khornite snipers, and all that... But damn, now in pvp you can observe situations when the same sniper has the colors and symbols of the World Eaters. Or again, when the engineer class is painted in the scheme of the night lords (or any other, no difference), but at the same time flaunts the right shoulder strap of the iron warriors (black and yellow markings), it's so canonical, Kamon. Just in case, I remind you, the game has ready-made models of the Thousand Sons Legion, and the developers can't add them to pvp. Moreover, the game also lacks such legions as the Word Bearers and the Emperor's Children.
If the developers are not able to implement a scheme similar to the Astartes Imperium, then why not expand the champion packs to include the Chaosites? Like adding one more Chaos Champion in each update.
5) Overall, the developers are still maintaining a decent level, but it would be great if they paid attention to the points described above.
