MODS Detected BUG Since 6.1

Need Help pls
Since 6.1, I keep getting the Mods detected alarm and stuck in private mode.
I don't have ANY mods or stuff like that ! I re-installed the game check files, etc.
I play about 140h without big problems, but since this patch, I could not play a single game online. :(

Can somebody help me pls or get the same problem?

Hello. I have the same problem. The Saber Interactive website also reports this problem. Therefore, they made a fix 6.1, but they did not solve this problem. It remains to wait for a new fix.

I had the same issue even though I never installed any mods... I tried verifying files, restarting computer, checking for a mods folder just in case, disabling crossplay, nothing worked.

Turns out the problem was my firewall was blocking two execs from connecting: start_protected_game.exe and Warhammer 40000 Space Marine 2.exe. My guess is these files were added or modified with the update and the firewall blocked them by default. Of course, Warhammer 40000 Space Marine 2 - Retail.exe also needs to connect.

thanks for the tip i try it but still dont work for me :(

For me, only a new installation helped. If you want to try this, make sure that the Space Marine II folder has been completely deleted before reinstalling the game.
