Odeal - "Purge them all" bugged?

Greetings,

I'm currently doing some Ordeals and I'm doing "Purge them all" for now.

I have the Steam achievement, which still only counts 23 targets. Since 1.0, we received 2 new (scanable) enemies. Frisbee Tzangoors and Biovore. I scanned both but I still only have 24/25 for the ordeal.

I unlocked the Data entrance for the frisbee and it is confirmed, that is has been scanned. I did not unlocked Biovore yet, but I just played a 'nid operation I scanned it. (Checked the info box on the bottom left) so these 2 should be the last but somehow they aren't.

So either something is bugged or I am missing something. Any idea?


18.02. 2025 - Edit: I can now confirm, that this Ordeal is indeed bugged. As I said, I have the Steam achievement, so I marked 23/23. Since then they added frisbee Tzangoors and Biovors. I now have unlocked both enemies in the data vault and both are marked, according to the entry. That means that something does not count, because I'm still stuck at 24/25.

Unlock Imura in the chaos section and see if it says you've scanned him. You might have to scan both versions of him as well. He's the only one I don't have because I haven't gone back into the campaign yet to do it.

He's not the issue. I already have the Steam achievement with 23 targets. (And I have him unlocked and scanned - Confirmed by data entrance)

When mine was stuck, it was just one of the tyranids as there are 3 types of them. Maybe double check and see.

3 types of what exactly? You mean Warriors? If it is no bug, it cannot be a Warrior, because I have the Steam achievement, meaning I have all enemies from the release version. It can be a bug and something is not registered anymore as marked but I can't tell which in this case and must ping and hope I get it randomly :/

But I hope you get what I'm saying. I have the achievement, meaning I had all the enemies to that point. 2 more enemies are now available and I scanned both of them, yet 1 in total is still missing. And THAT is what confusing me.

That doesn't make sense to me, because if you suddenly have to mark more because they are new, it would mean that all of us that earned it long ago would also have to mark the new ones since the last few updates, which is not the case.

You must have been missing 1 from before the 2 new enemies were added and still have to find that one.

My oint exactly, meaning it is most likely bugged. Because I have the confirmation for frisbee via data entrace and I just marked the Biovore a few minutes ago (again), yet 1 is still missing.

Edit: But how can I miss one from the release version, when I have the Steam achievement? Than I wouldn't have earned this.

Usual problems for tagging are:
Imurah
hormogaunts (2 types)
Warriors with different guns

I'M pretty sure the Titan does not count, because that would mean the Biovore is not part of the 25 units in total, which would be strange. I'm gonna mark the TItan again, just to see but I'm pretty confident that the TItan is not an issue.

Follow Up and confirmed: It was not the Bio Titan as I just did the mission again and marked it.

Everything together and since there are other buggy ordeals, leads me to the final conflussion that this one here is indeed bugged

It might be a bug. However, when I farmed achievements (first week after the launch), I faced the same issue - 1 is left. So, basically I did it from scratch with each and every enemy and replayed each mission with Imurah. At the end of the day, the missing one was the Hive Tyrant, surprisingly.
My point is, if you have time for this, go through the list of scannable mobs once again from the beginning. Probably it is the only way to find what is missing, except unlocking half of datavault.
Having near 500h at the moment of the patch with everything unlocked and completed before I was able to fully open one page of datavault and currently have 3 cleared (not playing PvP at all, except for achievements) - so you might try this route instead. Probably it will give you more profit in a long run + it might take time till next patch anyway.
