Application still not working

I was praying this hot fix sorted the application has stopped working error, has anyone got a proper fix for this? i have tried everything anyone has suggested but nothing has worked so far.

Today, after the 6.1 Hotfix i got this error on startup: "Εrror happened due to processing another error: Failed to spawn crash reporter process. Code = 2. Application would be closed."
I hope we get a fix soon.

If you have done the everything and nothing works then you havent done the everything.

Do you have an NVME drive? And not a HARD DRIVE?

Do you have it installed on the said NVME drive and not your physical hard drive?

I've shared these possible solutions across different topics, please give them a try.

1) Try running the game using the following path:
Warhammer 40000 Space Marine 2\client_pc\root\bin\pc\Warhammer 40000 Space Marine 2 - Retail.exe

2) Programs like Kaspersky, Avast, AVG etc. can sometimes interfere with game execution. Temporarily disable them and see if the issue persists.

3) Download and install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package MFC Security Update from Microsoft's official website.

4) Some overlays can cause conflicts. Try disabling overlays from GeForce Experience, AMD Software, or even Steam’s own in-game overlay to check if it resolves the issue.

Forgive the lack of details brothers as i have been in contact with saber, over many emails and so much info my brain is a little frazzled. I played 200 hours before the 6.0 patch with no problem at all. The last fix suggested was safe mode, only opening stem and had the same error. I then did the thing i regret the most and uninstalled steam. with a fresh install of stem and sm2 in safe/normal mode.. I get the same error.Its the only game with a problem and the problem came with the patch. I take all suggestions and thank everyone for them but i really feel like its them and not me lol.
