"From the Shadows" Ordeal Question
For the new "from the shadows" ordeal (kill enemies while cloaked as sniper), I've just been firing my las fusil into crowds of tyranids. Is this the most efficient way to go about this or is there a better method? Sniper is my least played/least favorite class so I don't really know all the tricks with him.

This is the most efficient way to get this ordeal done.

As someone who's favorite class is the sniper, the class has two roles: at a high level, when you have "lethal efficiency" unlocked, the class can be used to clear the trash basically for free and no ammo expenditure. When combined with upgrade perks to the Las Fusil that widen the beam by 10-30% this can be incredibly useful and powerful.

As a sniper of any level, Las Fusil shots can be used to take down Majoris-level enemies with head shots, stumble those calling for backup from a distance, etc. and generally help the squad by lining up executions for them at a distance.

At a medium level, the sniper becomes incredibly useful against Extremis and Terminus level enemies, with the skill that makes cloaked shots 75% more powerful (can also be paired with the perk that increases ranged damage by 20% by standing still for 2 seconds if you wish). This allows the sniper to use cloak strategically, with head-shots, to take out massive chunks of enemy life when there is an opening.

If you are playing at a high-level, your squad will definitely expect you to be using cloak to dish out extra damage where it is most needed. But at low levels, I don't think anyone is going to care if you are cloaking frequently to fire into trash mobs. When you can, pick up the perk that keeps you cloaked for 2 seconds after firing - it will let you get off an additional 1 or 2 shots while invisible still.

Thanks for the advice, though I have to say I probably won't be playing sniper again after I finish the ordeals and I'm definitely not going to play with other players, just bots. It's not just with this game, I generally loathe sniper roles in any game because I'm just not a good sniper and it's pretty much the opposite of my preferred play style.
