after that let the new Nvidia App do some work for you https://www.nvidia.com/de-de/software/nvidia-app/.
Check the Windows power and video options as well, if the workload is that low the 3D application seems not be correctly detected.
Are other 3D benchmarks and videogames solid in there behavior ?
What nonsens, I get steady 240 FPS(120 locked) on ultra 4K texture pack, wich is kinda absurd considering the madness going on at times.
There only a few online games that actually have this graphical fidelity and are able to put that much fps out. If your CPU/GPU is not up for the task thats not on Saber, especially after the DLSS Patch you should have enough fps to play smoothly with decent hardware.
In the beginning, after release I had 90-120- fps but the graphics wasn't good enough for me, didn't look exactly like on you tubers videos, so when I maxed out all visual options that I felt necessary now I have 60 fps - I think it's a good trade off.
Ever since Update 6.0, I've been getting fps drops and stutters. Upon suggestions, I deleted the shader cache, user config, reinstalled the game, reinstalled the graphic driver, nothing helped. There are bug reports on Focus website about how the performance/optimization of the game has gone awful, so hopefully they will fix all these.
Just for the record, the game was running fine on Ultra Settings before update 6.0.
What kind of super computer are you rocking?
Personally I am having the same performance issues I've been having since launch. Despite only playing at 1080p I cannot run the game above 100fps at best, with big periodic stutters to 60. It does not seem to matter if I put everything at max or everything at minimum, the result is the same.
As for 100fps being limit for you - this is all CPU bottlneck. 7800x3d is good for aroun 115-120fps in this game anything weaker will have that much less, my 13600k is around 100fps avg in operations.
I will say that latest update seems to have damaged my 1% lows i had like 80 1% lows before, now i'm seeing like 1% lows 60fps. Avg stayed the same though.
But this game even tho sponsered by AMD doesn't run that much better with X3D RYZEN CPUs proberly even worse, at least thats what i read on the saber forums.
Without FG i get around 120(locked), so basicly a little bit more like you, but as stated above i run FG usually if i dont register any latency or ghosting in my gameplay, i got a 240Hz display aswell so im squeezing every FPS out ;O.
What i registered in my time in Space Marine 2 that most of these stutters or lags sometimes are mostly related to the server structure and/or connection.
Sadly after the most big patches the performance is tanking a bit and then getting better day by day, suprisingly even if they dont patch wich leads me to the conclusion that usually it is the host or serverstructure which causing these lags at times, the avg. FPS in my case is basicly the same.
I have a 14700k, I'm not sure how that compares. When I bought it there was only one model more powerful at the time (and it didn't seem worth the extra money to me, but I'm a layman comparatively).
I'm getting 9ms difference between CPU busy and GPU busy, with CPU busy being quite jumpy.
Also, GPU utilization at 65/70% and CPU usage not going above 40%.
CPU: Ryzen 7600
GPU: RX7800XT
All drivers and system at last version.
