Playing as a Bulwark? Guess what: your team in no way has enough ammo nor damage output to complete the mission because of those chains, the mobs, and the lack of ammo.
The crates provide no cover against AI shots, so you can't break LOS when all the gunners/machine gun warriors come out.
Also, the medkits bug out if you restart the checkpoint, and you are not able to pick up.
Also, the venom shards and termagaunts are the biggest threats, and the termagaunts can be easily executed or gun striked for quick armor to survive while the bots slowly wear the rest of the enemies down.
It's a very bad idea to engage in melee with a majoris or higher enemy while there are a lot of other ranged enemies shooting at you. You're better off keeping your distance from them so you can dodge their shots while thinning them out with ranged attacks. They'll rip you apart at close range from multiple directions. The termagaunts can be incapacitated fast enough in melee, so they're easy melee targets in almost every situation so long as you keep executing them.
Instead the AI seems like it's coded to prioritize rank and file enemies closest to them. They do little to nothing to help.
I'd seriously consider dropping the difficulty to Veteran and getting into end game if you don't play with other people, strictly because of the objective based parts of missions. A lot of it is beating your head against a wall until you RNG some decent behavior out of your AI.
Just keep trying over and over until you get it then, I guess.
The campaign doesn't really do anything for end game. The story is cool, but that's strictly all you're going to get out of it.
The end game is a lot more rewarding, you get to progress a class and upgrade weapons.
