Tactical Marines, do not sleep on the Bolter with grenade launcher
I have been racking up crazy kills with this thing on Ruthless. The ammo economy is very generous with a maxed tactical as you get your auxiliary grenades (the ones the bolter shoots) back for free for killing Majoris enemies. Anytime there is an ammo crate you can turn yourself into a Whirlwind Missile Battery.

Clump of 5-6 majoris enemies? No problem, the splash damage has no diminishing damage effect so you can delete entire groups easily.

If the Plasma gun meta didn't do it for you, try the Grenade Launcher.

To unlock it you upgrade the normal bolter to green tier and one of the 4 options is the GL one. By the time you relic it, its absolutely insane.

I have been having a blast with the stalker bolt rifle on tactical myself.

Thanks, I was hoping to find a way to keep using bolters on higher difficulties as tactical marine.

Since we're sharing things that we shouldn't sleep on, you can shoot the little brown pod the tyranid biorazor patches grow from to instantly remove them, even after they've grown.

Hehe, how to have a good bolter, ignore the bolter part and yse it as a grenade launcher :(

But, yeah, its probably verging on over powered.

I do not mind some weapon being better as long as the other weapon stay fully viable, no need for nerfs.

You can do that even before they are grown, just hit them when they are on the floor.

It's definitely pretty over the top OP.

Destroys anything you can reliably hit, annihilates anything from minoris to terminus, 0 splash damage on yourself either so if you're swarmed you can just dump your nades at your feet, execute to proc your ammo perk and get all your nades again

If Melta is S tier, the launcher is SS

Absolutely useless without apparently abusing some bugs.

Needs endgame talents to even be viable also because the bug won't even work until level 25.

Also only has 5 rounds unless you have a VERY late-game perk that you unlock at level 20!

Meh, all Bolter maybe bar the stalker and sniper one sucks hard and not worth using outside of RPing, the only saving grace of the bolt rifle line is that one of them have nade launcher that is carrying like 80% of the gun damage.

You might as well call it a nade launcher with bolter attached instead.
