The game is very cpu heavy and you are discovering the consequences of cutting corners, you'd get the same performance on a 4070 most likely.
I have a feeling you are likely using slow memory too, only exasperating the issue.
Edit.
Fixed dumb typo.
There you go. I get max 80-110fps when not in action with oc 5800x, guys with 7800x3d get max 120-130fps, regardless of graphical settings (with 7900xtx/4080/4090) iirc.
5600x with 4090 is... uh, silly :) You literally have an S-Klasse with a 1.0 3-cylinder engine lol
Thank you. I'm ded.
What happens when you run the game in 1080p?
Upgrade time.
I would have expected much more than 30 - 60 from a 5600X. My last build was a 5600x + 3080 and it largely did 4k fine at 60 fps. This game on Swarm Engine is much more performance friendly than other games I played recently.
For upgrades I would recommend not upgrading until you have the funds for a full part swap to AM5 board

He made me be that guy.
Getting 5800x3d is the best you can do, but the question is there a point to it? It might be better to just swap platform to AM5 and 7800x3d you obviously can affford it if you're running 4090.
No, I am correct, they are two different words.
