Representation with the Founding Chapters

So my Representation policy is simple... Honour your Wargear. Meaning, show you chapter colors and emblems.

With upcoming cosmetic packs and customization for chapters I would like see All Founding Chapters get a unique shield for the Bulwark. This shield would not only represent the Chapter but would be linked to the Bulwark's Chapter Banner ability. So when a Bulwark equipped with a Salamander Wargear Shield uses their Chapter Banner Ability, then a Salamander Chapter Banner is summoned and not the default Ultramarines banner.

This will allow role playing gamers to have themed Chapters teams with their friends for at least the Founding Chapters, players with secondary founding chapters could use their founding chapters banner.

I realize this would me linking a piece of wargear with an ability of a character, but I really think the difference between a good game and a great game is the finer details and allows the players depth of role playing with adherence to the intellectual property.

As a Salamander player who plays Bulwark I would love to see this change, even just for the banner.

I was using Salamanders as an example and would like to see it for all Founding Chapters. But I too am a Salamander fan as well as my gaming friends. I played 3 operations today, and 2 of them had Salamanders in them. As a long time WH 40k fan I get tired of just seeing Smurfs, DA, BA, BT and Wolves get the GWS love.

That would require a much deeper customization system which I can get on board with.

Deathwatch for example: all black armor (cool cool, I got that unlocked) all DW pieces unlocked except the silver arm (exactly the same as just recoloring your arm silver but cool, I have those unlocked as well.)

The problem is when it comes to the right pauldron as DW dudes have their chapter mark on the right pauldron due to the blinged out Inquisitor pauldron being on the left. Well you have very limited chapter markings that are even available on the right pauldron.

Then there are other various markings not even in game for the kneecaps.

I agree about the Right Pauldron DW emblems, there are a few available for the founding chapters for Right Pauldron now. The mirror image would not be hard, since it already is in game, the Mark X Phobos Sniper armor Left Pauldron has a mirror image of the Chapter Emblem on it. Even if it is 'sold' as a DW Right Pauldron and like the Sniper Left Pauldron, just reverses the image of ANY emblem selected, so you dont have to buy another embelm for your chapter, just the DW Right Pauldron and that piece of armor, like the Mark X Phobos Sniper armor, switches the emblems direction.

The idea for the Chapter Shield was just an idea of linking an existing system in the armory with a class ability.
