Also probably want to add spoilers to your post or something, games still new
I don't know if most of these posts are made by someone who doesn't know the lore, but in 40k basis at which Leandros distrusts Titus, they are strong and if not checked could potentially bring the whole company to destruction.
"Acts lore accurately"
Soooo every ultramarine for example, views devotion to the emperor and duty, which LORE ACCURATELY has resulted in numerous space marines, primarchs and even normal humans overcoming the "touch of the warp" including so many others that are actively resistant too it because WILLPOWER is quite litterally a means of combating the taint of the warp, All ultramarine's or hell most of the imperium, in your view would "lore accurately" accuse titus on the spot despite being a novice?
1. When leandros made the accusation, he was young and a novice.
2. The codex astartes, to which he implicitly uses as rules and not a guide (the difference between him and titus) explicitly states that all accusations of heresy should NOT be brought directly to the inquisition and instead the chapter first. This one was the main reasons calgar will have said he was so angry and likely the reason why Leandros became a chaplain at all.
Leandros. Is. An. Ass.
Leandros litterally called Titus a liar in the first game because he said he was no heretic because he was the one who cast down nemeroth and thats just....not possible, for....some reason.
Lets be real here, the first game, was not well written in line with 40k lore.....at all.
Soooooo many chaplains in the lore suggest otherwise. Theres a lot of compassion in a lot of chaplains, in fact most of the time, if one of their brothers loses control of themselves say the blood angels, they will blame themselves for not being able to help their brother because it is their duty as chaplains to not just gaurd against heresy and keep the chapter pure, but to aid their brothers in their search for stability within the chapter too.
They are looked up too, not feared.
I remember in Dawn of War, when the Librarian betrayed the Blood Ravens and we had to kill him. Despite this, Librarians are even more devoted to the Imperium. So the corruption of Chaos should be absolutely minimal or non-existent for them.
I believe his name was Isador.
"An open mind is a like fortress with its gates unbarred and unguarded."
Rewatch the cutscene, You can actually see the Iron Halo lit up when he starts resisting it.
He didnt just chad his way through it lol
Though the Crux Terminatus might also have offered protection, given what its made of and represents.
He'd be more likely to get dragged off by the other chaplains and gently re-educated for being stupid enough to make the accusation lol
Honestly, I love the dawn of war series and DoW 3 broke my heart, but they aren't exactly the most lore accurate games in existence haha it took well over a decade for GW to even admit on any level that the blood ravens are cannon haha
is a new Legion with only me as member
Shut the ♥♥♥♥ up Leandros.
