An unfortunate pattern on higher diff operations
So I have noticed a repeating pattern that i think needs addressing.
Almost every quick join operation i do, and almost all my friends who also playing on difficutly 3 and 4, are all either doing inferno, decapitation, or the last bonus operation were you send the bomb off to the hive city.

If you notice something, all three of these are against nids, and the only 1 of them has a boss.
I think this speaks volume to the problems with chaos at the moment and really hope saber notices this two and goes about rebalancing it. The game is quite fun, but doing these 3 missions almost exclusively at higher levels is very draining.
I would love to fight more chaos, but they just are so unfun to fight, and frustrating.

Yeah thats my point they suck to fight because a lot of their designs are just bad.
Teleporting Rubrics are a horrible design, especially on the flame throwers since they can just teleport behind you, and then drain you instantly.

The chaff units having shields that can block most ranged weapons and light attacks is annoying and kills the flow of combat, and would not be an issue if they did not spawn in packs of like 15 with them.

But my god, the rubrics needs way less health especially with how many of them spawn in. at once.

The fact that the Terminators use their projectile volley attack IN MELEE is extremely annoying; extra annoyance is that when you close the gap on them (most ranged units in general) they don't really dedicate to going melee and will still shoot you.

The Thousand Son's are just badly designed mechanically and aren't even appealing to fight visually: very stiff movements (I know lore accurate but still) and they don't have any visuals for body damage taken like how the Nids start to get all bloody.
The teleporting warpflamer rubrics and their bulletspongeyness coupled with the shield guys just ruins any fun fighting Chaos.

They should give the Bolt weapons more of a punch, so they can stagger, slowdown, or punch through the shields of the small ones. That will not only make Chaos a little more interesting to fight, but also works as a potential fix for the Bolt weapons..

I never can understand why something the size of a regular human can just straight up tank shots from a Heavy Bolter, just because it has a little bit of magic metal on its arm.

This gives Bolt Weapons a good situational use. So it's worth switching to them.

Sorry bud, but this is a "fun" issue. This is just a casual co-op, not an E-Sport.

We're here to cosplay Space Marines for a few hours, not climb international leaderboards.

Nids are easier and people like to progress quickly. I like the dichotmy they offer to the nids in terms of challenge but yea, if you're just farming nids are just a lot easier.

this is a big deal, imagine if you had to fight every single gaunt as well as the warriors it would be way more annoying. with chaos you fight tanky marines AND tanky tzaangors with shields and the teleporting of rubrics also makes them much more annoying to fight

honestly the most deadly unit with 'nid swarms are termagants, they fire really fast and accurately and unless you clear them straight away they will deal a lot of damage while you're fighting warriors

teleport spam is annoying in a game where melee is so important, thats been my main gripe with the chaos missions

Dont mind chaos but the damn mission with the slow moving train. No way gonna do that again its so boring. The other missions are all fine tho.
