We barely get any XP or rewards from it. This game might die if they don't fix matchmaking LOL.
It gets exponentially worse as some people stay on and get better than 95 percent of everyone else then play in cliches.
This is because of stacked teams, usually. If no one leaves the matchmaking session then you are stuck with the noob team while the pro team destroys you. The game doesn't remix teams between each match. So you quit that matchmaking session and find a better one.
It does not take long to reach higher levels, and you don't magically stop losing once you have "experience". You can back out of matchmaking for a reason, if you wanna cherry pick matches against level 1 teams you are free to do so. I do just fine against level 25 opponents, and I've seen level 5 opponents rack up 20-30 kills a match multiple matches in a row.
