Tactical and Heavy Have All the Guns
Why does Tactical and Heavy have 5 bazillion guns and every other class have 4? Makes playing the other classes more repetitive than it needs to be.

Didn't Sniper have 5 guns too? :asciiterror:

Heavy has 3 primaries and 2 secondaries.

Tactical is the only class with a large amount of weapon options and Sniper has more options than Heavy does.

That being said, there's a ton of weapons from the lore that are entirely absent and some of the unique to class weapons shouldn't be even for gameplay purposes. Thunder Hammers for instance are used by troops with storm shields in the lore just like the power swords and such. There's no reason every non melee class shouldn't be able to take a standard bolter, even for gameplay balance reasons there's just no logic to that. You could argue the heavy but if that's the case we need the storm bolter and a buff to the heavy bolter because that dinky thing is not hitting like a heavy bolter should.

Weapon options need some variety but Tactical is most certainly the only one with a large choice pool. If you get to the late game though you'll realize more than half of them aren't really worth using.

Yeah Tactical is the only one with loads of guns and tbh I barely tried them cause most have low stats and just seem like they'd be peashooters on the higher difficulties. They're also quite similar, being mostly variations of bolters.

Heavy bolt rifle, plasma or melta seem worthwhile.

Standart Bolter is also worthwhile, especially those with grenade launcher.

There is only the flamer that is absent IIRC. Everything else like the Grenade Launcher Bolter is there.

I main tactical marine, but I don't really feel all that variety in weapon tbh. Most of them are bolt guns, difference being fast & light hitting to slow & heavy hitting guns and anything in between. Only real three variety in meaningful way are bolt guns, plasma gun, and melta gun.

It doesn't help that melta gun is just about better in every conceivable ways and bolt guns are really weak overall.

Honestly, it only makes me having to grind a lot more just to get all of them up to par for higher difficulty tbh :/

We need both more weapons overall and let each class use more weapon that still make sense for them.
(pistol and knife is a free for all to me tho, everyone should be able to carry whatever small weapons)

the grenade launcher attach is legit more powerful than the melta after you get it to purple, its absurd

Bolt rifle with grenade launcher is one of the few weapons that can keep up with the melta.
