Server Issues, Eternal War?

Half the time I try to get an eternal war match going, I am the only player listed at the top and it can't find anyone to match with, when this happens I inevitably get a connection error message, and it asks if I want to go to the title screen or play offline.

I know it's not my isp, and since we are within days of release it should be finding a handful of people immediately.

And, that's what happens the other half of the time. Within 2 minutes, I am matching with a whole slate of people and then the match begins.

What's the deal, has there been an official announcement that the servers are crap, or they didn't anticipate the traffic?

Eternal War is broken for a lot people right now, it seems. It's different for different players, as some of them can't connect to servers at all while others have insane pings. Anyway, it's obvious the PvP mode does not work as intended and needs fixing ASAP.

2. What if I turn crossplay off?

I'm also having this problem, but specifically when I play with a friend, solo i find games right away but if im in a party I cant matchmake

I didn't test operations today yet. Last time I played them was yesterday and it worked just fine. As for crossplay, I tried switching it off and it didn't really help in my case.

Thanks for the crossplay idea. I turned it off and pvp matchmaking works now :)

Bit late, but it's in the main menu in settings ;

Also, its only issues in Eternal War nothing else as of today [for me]

Crossplay was never "enabled" for pvp in the first place. PC only queues against PC and Console only queues against console for Eternal War (PVP). Turning off crossplay does literally nothing for Eternal War, it only affects who you can queue up with in operations.
