i've been hearing all the performance issues with the pc version

Pc is absolutely fine.
I have ~120 fps with 7800X3D and 4070 Super with Ultra graphic settings on 3440*1440 Ultrawide.

I don't have a problem with performance I usually get over 200FPS at 1080p max settings.

runs pretty good on my 3080 with intel i7-11700K . 4k ultra settings with dlss set to quality . PS5 version seems blurry because native resolution drops to 720 p at times when in performance mode .

Depends how good your GPU is compared to your CPU. It's quite CPU intensive so if you tend to suffer with CPU bottle necks, you might not have the best experience.

But you can always cap at a lower frame rate or turn graphics settings UP to lower frame rate and mitigate that CPU bottleneck a bit

i have a ryzen 3700x and 2070 with 16gb ram i built this pc during the pandemic so im so sure if my pc holds up to these modern games

I just began but in getting good performance on my little older rig.

I7 8700, 2070super & 32 gb ddr4 ram. Changed nothing in it the last 5-6 years. Aiming for 60 fps in 1080p and it holds that nicely on max settings, except texture resolution set to high. Dlss on.
Kinda similar how my rig performed in Horizon forbidden west, same issue there with hitting the vram-wall on max texture setting

PC perfectly fine, and PS5 you need performance mode... So i would stick with PC.

Depends on the location and how much action is going on...
In heavy fighting situations it can drop to ~80
Mostly of the time ~120
Sometime I have fps around 160.

Like other people said, the game is very CPU intensive.

how the hell are you getting any reasonable performance? this game is primarily cpu intensive, and i have an i9 11900k. I am NOT playing this game at 4k high/ultra. i am struggling as is on medium/high with big backgrounds & fights dropping me into the 50s. even after minimizing cpu intensive settings. and i am pretty sure getting a 3080 over a 3070 performance wise wouldn't net me a difference.

PC version is great. Much better than anyone would have expected. It all comes to the PC.

Lock the game to 60 frames, turn on Dynamic Resolution. Turn V-Sync on.

Use Lossless Scaling app. Framegen x2.

Locked 60 fps, maxed out everything.

Runs at 110 - 120.

Just depends if you want to play on a office chair or on a couch? I also seen that the Xbox series X runs this game alot better then PS5.
