requisition points capped at 999?

or maybe, just MAYBE, I cannot buy anything yet because I either need the data or the xp and I don't want to spend them in unwanted cosmetics?

Either way you are missing the point here: what is the point in having them capped in the first place?

Does it matter? You are meant to spend them. If not in cosmetic but in actual weapon upgrades and skills.

Oh great enlightened one, pray tell me what sort of skill or gear upgrade there is in the game that you'd blow all 999 requisition points on it at the same time as soon as you unlock them? Just spend like a 100 points on something else, anything, then go back to earning more. You idiot, you bufoon, you absolute pencil-necked nerd.

Well this doesnt age well as now I have to spend 750 points to prestige and then 200 on weapons leaving me with nothing. OP had a point and the devs made it plain to see.
