Space Marine 2 Is DOOMED to Fail
I have to say, I’m really baffled by all the hype around Space Marine 2. Let’s be real this game is gonna die in a few months. With the lack of real content and innovation, I can’t imagine many players sticking around once the hype wears off.

The character choices are just tired. Seriously, how many enemies can you put on-screen before it gets boring? There’s no diversity or depth—just the same old formula that’s been recycled a million times. It’s a shame because it feels like they had a chance to carve out something new but totally dropped the ball.

I’m eager to hear from all the fans defending this thing. Good luck trying to convince me it’s worth anything long-term.

Steady downward slope on day to day peaks. It's already begun. A game like this was going to need a team that was going to send out a hot fix every ten minutes between patches until it was in perfect working order. They just don't have the gumption. We needed a stronger, better team to bring us a game of this magnitude.

It's in no way "DOOMED" to fail. The old formula worked, so they started with that, and then once launch is done and stabilised, then comes extra.

Be a doomer all you want, stop playing then and move on. Those of us who enjoy the game will continue to enjoy it.

Its a game for the masses who have low standards, what did you expect?

It was already predictable lol I was aware of what was going to happen. Trying to cater to pve people and pvp people at the same time was never going to work. Or if you wanted to really do that, you would need to have quite more maps and missions than what they gave us, and I bet it's gonna take them months to release any actual meaningful updates.

The biggest problem about the game currently in my view is the lack of PvE maps. 6 are very few considering the amount of grinding the game wants you to do.

Most steam users buy games and never play them and all gamers play a game for a few weeks to month then the next big shiny comes out...
When silent hill 2 remake comes out me and many othjers will poof. This game is fun, but cheaters ruined pvp so that was gonna happen so we just have pve which is grindy af.
The new terminator game looks to be my main game for the fall winter, but then snake eater remake will be out and there I go moving to a new game. lol Are you new to gaming?

I get what you're saying but IMO it doesn't need to last forever to be a good game. Everyone is saying vote with your wallet and all that. And that's just it. The suits will see how well this did and figure this is what needs to be done. And as a result, more games like this might pop up, better ones.

You are correct. Look how quickly so many of them showed up to work the meat a little further down their throats.
