LGBT Representation

The 40K universe is full of bizarre and wild things, but somehow LGBTQ+ characters are where people draw the line? Please. With humanity scattered across billions of worlds, there’s no way everyone is straight and cis. Space Marine 2 could easily include queer characters, and it wouldn’t break the lore. If anything, it would make the universe more believable.

The lore already flirts with gender fluidity and diverse sexualities—just look at Slaanesh. So why can’t Space Marine 2 tap into that? It’s all power armor and grimdark nonsense, but a little LGBTQ+ representation is where they’re afraid to push boundaries? Come on.

In a time where people want to see themselves in games, it’s ridiculous not to include it. If Space Marine 2 can handle magic space wizards, it can handle a queer character. If it doesn’t, that’s just outdated and lazy.

I know this is just jester farming bait again but there’s dozens of 40k books and stories with LGBT characters at this point. It’s honestly my favorite part of the setting, not the representation per-se but just the little glimmers of people finding love and joy in spite of the cruel and unforgiving galaxy they live in. Those little droplets of light in an otherwise brutal setting give a lot of depth to it that make all the psychotic battles and atrocities more interesting.
