Fighting Chaos is just not fun
Nid? great, super fun to fight, Choas? My god, these things are aweful and just not fun. THe constant telling porting of them needs to go, i cant even count the number of times i have gotten killed because they for some reason teleport right behind you with a flame thrower and just destroy you.

Good thing you didn't play against other Chaos. You would be so confused.

It really is. Tsons were very cool in this game.

If I am being honest, OP as a good point.

Fighting nids feels quite badass.

Chaos is well... boring and clearly unpolished by comparison.

I like to think they made Chaos the most annoying and tedious enemies to fight in this game to simulate your real life hatred towards them, for realism purposes

I honestly believe the art department gave their A-Game on the thousand sons too, but for real, their gameplay is somewhat lackluster.

Once you figure out to use plasma on the rubric marines, it's all trivialized into a borefest.

They're only teleporting because they're magnus's dusty boys, thats all. You'd probably prefer fighting khorns khornflakes, they will never stab you in the back or teleport, but they will stab you really hard in the face

Well you know what they say, brother, if you can't beat them, join them.

The Emperor requires only the most indomitable and righteous fire to stand against the powers of chaos.

Their minions consist of chaos birdmen that take way too many bodyshots, also can have shields, the normal humies that die easily enough but I swear Chaos hired the smallest humans possible because I half the time just dont see them, which is really annoying when their weapons consist of hitscan, and high damage sniper shots, their majoris are a Chaos Marine that just stands there and barely reacts to getting shot or smacked, only to teleport away instead of trying to dodge attacks, they honestly are the most boring to fight as they either attack from the backline spamming their burst shots, or teleport behind you and smack you in the back of the head. The other Chaos Marine is a copy and past of the first one, just with a flamer and more unblockable attacks, they also just aren't that fun to kill, unlike every other enemy in the game, when you kill a Thousand Sons Marine, they just let out all of their fairy dust and than fall apart like a lego character. The Thousand Suns extremis are somewhat unique, the terminus are a mixed bag, they either provide a challenging fight, or spam their missile attack, while the sorcerer feels like an okay balance for an extremis, but sometimes dies a little too quickly like the rest of the Chaos extremis, their lack of terminus mini boss type enemies is also kinda sad, the hellnaught is fun to fight but its literally the only mini-boss, compared to the Tyranids with two, and three mini-bosses.

Honestly it just feels like Tyranids were a much better thought out enemy to fight, their majoris buff the minoris but can also weaken or straight up kill them when they themselves are killed, it can lead to different tactics to who to target in a horde, but Chaos there is no real tactics during a horde, its just kill whoever is shooting at you while you murder the rest of the horde.

To conclude my yapping, bugs fun, pixie marines not.

A lot of the perks in the game let you do things after you've parried or dodged. Chaos marines don't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ do anything, the executions are kinda bland because they just turn into dust and just taking off their helmet kills them? They also just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ shoot at you and then I can't proc any of my perks and then just end up getting ♥♥♥♥♥♥. The Minoris are so annoying how they take ungodly amounts of shots to kill headshots. No wonder meltas are considered the best, they basically trivialize the minoris. I don't understand why they thought projectile spam and teleporting away would be fun while also having 90% of their enemies be bullet spongey.

Well to be fair, they were tricked by Tzeentch and locked in their armour, their bodies turned to dust, so all that's in the armour really is just a soul. So when you tear the helmet off, you're freeing the soul and the dust is just their bones etc.

As for the actual gameplay. I'm not a fan of going up against Chaos, they're boring, the minoris die easily, even the Tzaangors if you have the correct weapon... the grenade launcher. The majoris are annoying more than anything, shoot from afar or spam attacks you can't parry which a lot of perks rely on. The two terminators aren't exactly special, one spams missiles, the other melee. The missile one you can take out easy with a plasma incinerator or grenade launcher, the melee you can just parry him and gun strike, it's not difficult to do. The sorcerer dies too quickly which leaves the hellbrute as the only fun and unique enemy to fight.

Tyranids on the other hand have way more interesting enemies. Raveners that burrow, Lictor that cloaks, two mini bosses in the Carnifex and Neurothrope, Hive Tyrant boss, Zoanthropes, at least fighting the nids is fun, chaos is just a chore.

Let me guess you dislike fighting bots on Helldivers too?
