Here it's either aim assist is not overtuned enough to be quite on par with kb&m in general, or it is undertuned when you play with controller in pvp on PC.
And yes you can somewhat balance controller and kb&m to have similar performance. But your average controller user will not appriciate the result, as it will demand a lot more presicion than he is comfortable with. Hence pvp scene will slowly but surely convert to almost only kb&m.
So...
If you want people to use their favorite input method - pvp crossplay is actually a worst decision that you can make as a developer for your game.
