i cant even get through a single mission -- don't listen to idiots -- the game is unplayable by majority of people. it's only crashing.

The game was working flawlessly before their 'update crash' fix days ago, now it only crashes since that update (that's how you know they completely broke it).

AND THEY ARE REFUSING TO FIX IT OR DO A HOT FIX OR ANYTHING. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ garbage devs, another one, never buy Triple AAA games ever game, all the devs are incompetent and the games are always broken now and fry your CPU and rig (even high end machines like mine).

There's numerous people with top of the line specs frying their computers with this game like 4080s and 4090s. Complete joke of devs.

4080 here, yes it is literally unplayable for me since the update, I got 2 runs in yesterday in between crashes and now it won't even load up the game. Got a good 34 hours in before there little "hotfix" so I'm not sure what they did.

you have a processor which had faults pointed not by the manufacturer themselves.. - have you update your BIOS and fixed the microcode issue your series was affected by? - you should look for a patch in the motherboard, from your motherboard manufacturer.. it should state that fixes this issue I just highlighted.

as far I can tell, I had two crashes so far, one during a cinematic and another one due temperature on my GPU - which hasn't been repasted in 9 years.. I have i7-4770k @ 4.3Ghz and 1080ti, max temp 70c and I can run 60 frames with almost every setting on High.

I'm baffled how people with latest hardware are unable to use their own hardware..

I have disabled all overlays, clocked my ram a little lower and my cpu a little lower. Set Resolution from 4k to 1440p and installed new gpu drivers. Also ambient occlusion turnd off and frs upscaling. THIS STOPPED CRASHES.
System:
13700k
4090
32gb ddr4 4000
ssd

with that kind of rig, you should never crash in any game, it's stupid devs who are now on a mission to fry up people's thousand dollar machines to render them useless.

It's becoming more and more common for these new games to fry people's CPU and GPU because the people who are hired want to destroy people's computers, this was never the case a decade ago but seems to be commonplace now.

Before their 'fix crashes' update, I never had any issues, now you get CPU overtemp fails, crashing etc even when updating your BIOs, GPU, adjusting settings or lowering them and etc.

It's insane to think that devs are so incompetent now that they fry thousand dollar CPUs and GPUs, pathetic people, should be fired honestly for the reckless damage they cause.

I had 24 hours of game time, beating the campaign and running all the operations with zero crashing. Today, I crashed multiple times, during each operation I tried to play with my friend. They must have patched the game or something has changed. I'll play some Darktide tomorrow to see if maybe it's just my PC acting up, but in the meantime, please let me know if anyone has found the cause of these crashes if it is game related!

All the clowns saying its peoples P.C.s when there are so many reporting the crashes and driver timeouts is insane. I have a 7800x3d and 7900xtx and I can't play the game without crashing .None of the intel cpu ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ or any other stuff.Everything updated and using the latest amd preview drivers. So yeah,no other game crashes except this garbage.

same setup mate. 7800x3d and 7900xtx. Crashes everytime near green bugs now, I swear this wasn't happening pre last update.

If you want help, always start by sharing your DxDiag report. The information you have provided is close to meaningless without the DxDiag report.

Okay so I re-verified the game files, said there was one missing. I also set the graphics quality to medium from low. I ran 2 operations with zero crashing this morning! So either it was the missing file or maybe running the game with higher GPU settings takes some pressure off of the CPU allowing it to not spike hard to cause crashes. Hope this helps!

This is the worst game expeirence ive had in years, ive tried everything, updated drivers 5 times, uninstalled ICUE, reinstalled the game twice. lowered settings to LOW, constant crashes during ANY mission. this is beyond a joke

I'm starting to think it's the DLSS, because I just switched to it from using the base TAA setting, and suddenly I'm crashing again.

A fix that worked for me (I was crashing every 5 - 10 mins before, but not once since), is setting my GPU for the game rather than letting Windows 'decide', whatever that means. Never had to do that before, but it's worked.

Go to Display Settings > Graphics > Browse for the exe > Set to high priority on your GPU.

My specs:
Ryzen 7 3700X
3080 Suprim X
48GB RAM
Windows 11
Running off SSD
