Cant seem to parry with Bulwark, with fencing?

Is this a lag issue or what am I doing wrong?

Same. Whenever the blue circle appears and I press my parry key nothing happens/

It can happen when you trying to parry in a middle of smashing other buttons, like attack for example.
For the test, try to approach a mob calmly and press buttons in a rhythm. Meaning - when blue circle appears - be sure you not pressing anything else at all. If the issue persists - it might be an input lag.
If it's a lag - try to rebind the fencing button to a different keyboard button or better to a mouse button.
If the lag persists - it might be because of a bad ping or else. Don't know.
No problems there.

Yeah same tested with block, it works fine. But, fencing power sword parry is buggy, even with block press on blue I get dmged WTF!

Bulwark has an issue misreading a parry as a shield block. Try double-tapping the parry button, it seems to help.

you are pressing too long. there is a skill called fencing on the weapons that increases the block window which should help to increase said block window.

Parrying on Bulwark can be a bit janky, the timing for parrying vs blocking is really tight, so if you don't release the parry/block button fast enough, you block for just a split second instead of parrying.

treat the blue marker against elites as a warning, parry the actual attack, each type of majoris and higher enemy has a different parry timing, u just have to get used to it, fencing tho really makes it simple

i hear this mentioned alot, but im gonna guess its only happening on controllers
on keyboard, parrying as a bulwark is the same for any class, by that i mean i didnt really need to relearn my parry whenever i play bulwark vs my tactical

oh i actually experienced a weird parry timing issue whenever im using a weapon skin that is the block version of that weapon, i used to use the skin of the block chainsword cuz it looks cool, but yea my parry sometimes fail with it, i switch my skin to the fencing or balance one and i never had an issue again, i havent done extensive testing on this tho, btw im using the fencing sword this entire time, just had the skin for the block chainsword at the time

You have to tap Parry at the start of the attack animation. If you hold the button slightly too long, Block will take priority:

TY, fk I take it back, Yeah it was a tap. I was pressing from panic, 0.5s hold and it goes to block, thats was the problem.
