PVP - Reduce Effects to Low!
So I was playing sniper in pvp today. I kept noticing how the enemy kept reacting to me easily when invisible. Like I was obviously noticeable to them. In fact they would react to me within moments of rounding a corner facing away. (yes I was unmarked and no other had seen me) Yet I myself couldn't see cloaked snipers hardly at all!! Even looking at video footage I could hardly see cloaked snipers. They are like a light smudge of pixels moving.

Long story short, turns out, going into settings then turning effects to Medium or Low makes the cloak much more easier to see! While I had this setting on Ultra this whole time.

Can't believe this is a thing...

Effects on Ultra. Do you see the sniper? Wheres Waldo?
(yes the cloaked sniper is there)

Oh waldo was on the right and my teammate died. Barely noticeable even scoped in.

So yeah, do not have effects set to Ultra in pvp. Its a big disadvantage!

This has been a thing in games for at least almost 10 years. When PUBG first released turning down the graphics removed most of the shrubs and bushes. people on higher settings would try to hide in bushed that they could see but to other players it was just some guy crouched in an open field. In the game predator: hunting grounds turning down the graphics made the predators invisibility much easier to see as he ran through the trees trying to hide. Most competitive players will play on lower settings to improve frame rate but also to remove excess clutter and effects that hinder gameplay.

Exactly, this is something well known to happen. Yet slipped by the graphics designer, art designer, level and pvp designers, quality control team, and play testers. It shouldnt be a thing they overlook on the competitive side of the game.
