Is Astarte running a little slow?
The production team's ability to react to Astarte is reflected in the melee weapon bounce and execution animations, this is very good. But the general consensus in my circle is that Astarte runs too slowly in the game, the production team can add even one short sprint,Astarte are not heavily armored. Their reflexes are very fast.

lore wise most definitely

Yeah, they are jogging at best. They are pretty heavily armored (by mortal standards) but they are also absurdly strong AND have mechanical assistance from their POWER armor.

If you can spam rolls like you're playing a naked character in Elden Ring you should be able to ACTUALLY sprint instead of just power jogging at your enemies.

I mean Astarte's not slow, they're quick

In the game? They are too slow in general, not just running, they swing melee very slow aswell unless you are using the combat knife, knife is somewhat fast.

SMs are supposed to be fast, REALLY FAST.

Personally, I don't think these Astarte power vests are a little fragile?
Just a bug hit you and you lose a little bit of armor, but you only have three armor points, and the enemy has almost endless bugs...

I think damage from Majoris enemies is fine, but some gaunts breaking your armor in 3 hits is a bit absurd.

There was an interview a couple weeks ago where the devs said they had to tone them down or it would make the game too easy.

A common theme in many Novels, where Astartes are present is, that nothing that big and heavy should move that fast as they do.

Unaugmented humans are unable to follow their movement speed most of the time and if the Astartes is going at full speed, all they can see is just a blur of movements at best.

Including what you said, when these Astarts are hit by elite enemy units in melee or long range, you have to wait a while before you can do anything else.
Personally, it doesn't match Astarte's reflexes
