The 3 I was missing was cultist, helldrake and hive tyrant.
Other than that, make sure you also marked the little melee tyranids which are hormagaunts, as well as the ranged variant which are termagants. I think termagant was one of the last ones I got. There's also the cultist and the las cultists (sniper bois), and, of course, make sure you got the hive tyrant. A lot of people mention that one, but I would still double check if you're uncertain. It can't be marked on the bridge or when running away; only in the fight. Not sure if heldrake can be marked in campaign. I forgot to check when it flies over the bridge, and it won't let you press the mark key when the dreadnought attacks it since it makes you just focus the camera on it. Probably not if I were to guess though. I just did the op for it and marked it in the final fight once it became vulnerable (probably can be marked either way), which gave me the achievement.
Other than Imurah, I don't think you can mark any apparitions. My marks went right through the marines manifested by the sorcerers. You also can't mark the daemon that appears in the final fight, or the little skull things that come out of cultists and sorcerers. Same with spore mines. I can't remember if gargoyles can be marked or not. I don't think so... because I went my entire first playthrough without really marking anything since I was solo, but I could be wrong. And I'm almost 100% certain you can't mark rippers. I'm pretty sure the tzaangors with shields are the same as ones without, but I've marked both so I can't confirm.
Only other enemies that come to mind are the terminus and extremis ones, and the various forms of tyranid warriors and heretic marines. If it's still not popping, then one or more of the enemies might not have counted. Try keeping the shift+tab menu up on the achievement while you play so you can quickly check if a mark counted or not.
also worth mentioning is that the 1k sons terminator with sword is kind of rare in ops, if you need a guaranteed mark, go through level 7 and when the elevator comes up with the 3 terminators on it, 2 of them are the terminator with sword that you need. go a little bit further and you'll get a hellbrute you can mark
also, cultist and cultist with lasgun are different, the latter has the laser that stays on you for a bit and then staggers you
I was heavily confused to WHY because I pinged him in his bossfight in the 4th level
I pinged his illusion INSIDE the mines in the same last level, both his illusion and his mug floating over you while you fight the Helbeast
But apparently THAT version is different
And it wasnt like "the ping last time didnt count", I saw the steam achievement update a few minutes after I pinged him in the 1st bossfight, but didnt get it when pinging in the mines
So either Imurah doesnt count in his 1st bossfight + some illusions that appear in the last mission, or he counts twice as there are a total of 22 enemies (or 24 if you count the horde variants) in the game and imurah would be the 23rd
Or maybe some other enemy doesnt count while imurah takes two slots for some reason
I am also sure that the variants of horde mobs (hormagaunts with adrenal glands and long-las cultists) dont count as a unique version (there would be a total of 25 pingable enemies if that was the case)
I replayed the campaign, solo, 2 times and followed a video guide for every enemy type, even cross checked it myself with a physical list and crossed out every enemy I had checked
And in pve I made sure the chat said "(My name) warns of (this enemy)" when I pinged, and pinged the pve exclusive bosses at different times a few times (like phase 2 hive tyrant)
So the only enemy that for sure was kinda wack was imurah
Or the ping just sometimes doesnt count that can also be it even if it SAYS in the chat you PINGED IT
