I wonder if the game itself needs a patch to make it compatible with the Nvidia App update?
I get the "Unable to retrieve settings. Try again later." but directly under that are the "Driver Settings", which contains the "DLSS Override - Models Preset". This is what you need to set to latest. It doesn't need to be able to see the ingame settings.
It doesn't, the override is not a game setting. It's a driver setting and that's why it's at the bottom in it's own section in the Nvidia App.
You can even force the override onto games that aren't whitelisted yet.
I managed to work that out just before I read your post. I could have sworn that a couple of hours ago, the override wasn't working though.
How are you forcing the override onto games that aren't whitelisted? I've considered trying but have been warned that anti-cheat software might ban me from certain games.
You'd need a tool called Nvidia Profile Inspector. Some googling will show you how.
Also note that on driver reinstall you'd have to do the Nvidia Profile Inspector thing again.
And most important, do NOT apply this to any game that runs DLSS version 1. Override only works for DLSS version 2 and up.
Thanks, would this affect the anti cheat?
It would affect it the same way the Nvidia App override does. But other than that I dunno.
