Nvidia Driver 566.36 Freeze/Crash the game. FIX inside

Crash is 100% during PVE operations (happen mid mission)

went back to 566.03 and everything is stable

I am on 566.36 and also on win11 23h2. I haven't crashed once. Did you try both the game ready version and the studio version? I also just install the driver. I don't install any of the geforce experience that comes with it.

i should had give more infos, i crash during operations mid mission 100% of the time on 566.36 drivers but not on 566.03

I have the same problem but in CS2 on my computer, some rounds almost pass when the screen goes black, it seems like the game is minimizing but it's not, it's the video driver,
It also changes the HZ of the screen to 60 by installing an ultra hd sd resolution. Normally I have 240hz on my monitor.

The only solution is to restart the drivers with the keyboard. Win + Ctrl + Shift + B works for me.

Use a tool like DDU to completely remove any old drivers, then install the new ones. You may never have experienced faulty driver installs before but there is always a first time. I had crashes updating the last drivers a couple of days before because i tried the fast way and the fast way didnt work out that time.

566.36, all games freezing the entire computer. went back to 566.14, had to download manually from the website

Hello there, someone can help? I’m just, installed this driver and I need help, anybody have a little bit freeze in games? I need your answers, cuz I have all the time annoying freeze, for example in cs2 and the games with directx 12. That’s really bad months for me after December 5 and now I’m waiting for a new driver for my GPU, cuz hope it ll be stable. My pc config
GPU:Colorful Rtx 3060 12 gb OC
CPU: Ryzen 7 5800x
MB: MSI B550 Pro vgh Wi-Fi
Ram: Hyperx fury 16 gb 3600 mhz
SSD: Ardor Gaming ally 512 gb Windows
SSD: adata legend 710 1 tb for games
Power Supply: Chieftec Proton 600w
Your answers are important to me and others. I will be grateful for ur help and answers. I just want to make sure that this is a problem in the video card driver, I'm worried about my PC, that maybe the problem is hardware, since the funds for a more powerful system do not yet allow funds.

Do you know which Driver you had was the last stable for you? If so, manuell download it and remove your current Driver with DDU in Safe Mode. Make sure to cut off your Internet connections before this, otherwise Windows, if you have it of course, will install some ♥♥♥♥♥♥ old Drivers instead. If the fresh new Installation of the old Driver fix your Problems, the Problem was most likely a corrupt Driver. If not, your GPU could be the Issue and you should make a Stress Test with FurMark. If this also fails your GPU could be defect.

dude i thought i was the only one going through this it was driving me insane until i figured out it was a driver’s thing
