No idea. I don't like the fact that such a huge change get implemented without any notice from the devs. Probably there have been more hidden tweaks applied.
They actually did, I just checked it in game. It's about the Volkite pistol, you must be lvl 26 or 27 to get it depending on the class.
Indeed they do. I have already noticed before that they secretly implement various tweaks without informing the community but this one is a biggie.
Yeah, Saber\Focus are kinda shy towards the player base. I think they learnt their lesson after Eternal Crusade flop - that game was supposed to be based on a partnership with the player base and total openness - it didn't work out, there were more problems due to it than benefits. I am sure many Saber\Focus devs played EC and they saw what was going on there. That is why they prefer to work in silence, I don't mind it as long as the game gets gradually better. We'll see.
