I upgraded my PC, game still runs like trash, elp.
So i preordered this game at the release- played it for couple of hours and it was unbearable TLDR: My current specs now, when i decided to run this again are Ryzen 7 5700x3d, 32GB of RAM, 3070ti and my fps is 40-60 at best when i can easily find a lot of videos on Youtube where people with same specs run it with 100+fps. What is going on??
Changing graphics settings from high to medium gives me like 5 fps+. I tried reinstalling the game, tried running it with older 566 drivers, tried deleting my Nvidia cache and resetting it to 10Gb - literally nothing helps.
Also - the game only uses like 20-30% of my CPU/GPU while running which is super wierd.
Any suggestions?

A big thing you can do to improve the fps is using frame generation, but use it with FSR3 as it does not work with DLSS (I'm running it on a 3070 without issue with that). Note that this solution work for most recent games (like monster hunter wilds).

yeah that's normal the game is optimized like ♥♥♥♥ but at least it is stable ♥♥♥♥... It chugs your CPU hard but it it isn't exactly easy on the GPU either. it's like they preload the hoard and hide it under the textures so that there are no lagspikes when it's time for the hoard to run at you. The best possible result I've seen in benchnmarks and just plain people boasting (without fake frames) was 150 fps which ain't that much.
And yes - switching between settings presents and FSR/DLSS modes barely does anything for the FPS... That's normal too.

Here's a decent video to look at some optimized settings and showing the cost of each one. Can try some of them and see if they make a difference in your performance.

So first of all- thanks you guys for your suggestions, it really helped me out a lot to navigate in this game settings. But this literally solved all of my problems. I can run it with 100+ fps with Native upscaling and FSR Frame Gen. It runs insanely good now.
