Being honest Malum Caedo is the reason i like corvus style armor, i still need to beat boltgun but the eye strain and the game was getting really hard close to the end.

I believe boltgun takes place shortly after the events of space marine 1.

I am not expecting Titus to meet him in person or speak to him, neither am I expecting him to show up on the planet but I do hope we get to see Guilliman in some shape or form. Hopefully through some intro speech cutscene or something where he declares the Indomitus Crusade. Because isnt this game meant to take place during the Indomitus Crusade?

Also, it would be fun to see Guilliman in some shape or form. It was fun seeing Abanddon in Dawn of War2 Retribution.

I am very light when it comes to lore, most of my knowledge coming from the games I play and the memes/videos I watch on youtube or discord.

But yeah on that topic it'd also be cool to get another space marine game (considering how the only DLCs they'll drop for this game is cosmetic) where we play as either Titus or someone completely different from a completely different chapter on the attack rather than defense of a planet in the Indomitus Crusade- considering how the objective for the Indomitus Crusade is meant to to defend AND RECLAIM regions of space.

But on the topic of Space Marine 2 I am curious to see how Tzeentch plays into the tyranid invasion. Wether theres something of value on the planet that they are after or if they are simply there in some Tzeentchian plot to try to weaponize Hive Fleets- or whatever Tzeentchians do. We really havnt been told much about the story so far come to think of it.

Could not find info if space marine 1 took place during the crusade, on the game page for space marine 1, it just says you are defending a forge world from a ork invasion. seems rather vague but that is not a bad thing, 2 could take place during the crusade though, as titus seems to have become a primaris marine

Dont believe I mentioned space marine 1 but apologies if I did. But isnt the Indomitus Crusade a pretty recent thing that didnt really exist when Space Marine 1 released?

I do not know how many years take place between the games lore wise, but imagin the shock of finding out your primarch is back, then either choosing to or being forced into becoming a primaris marine.

Interested in seeing how and why Titus came back.

The Indomitus crusade is fairly recent in the lore. Space Marine 1 takes place before The Great Rift / Gulliman's return. (none of that had been written yet in 2011). Captain Titus is also a 'firstborn marine' in Space Marine 1, but looks like he went through the process to become a Primaris Space Marine by the time Space Marine 2 takes place.

the theory is about 200 years. In Space Marine 1 Titus has 2 service studs on his head. (each stud represents 100 years of service), in Space Marine 2 Titus has 4 service studs. : )

I was honestly surprised when they revealed that the space marine was Titus in the trailer. As someone who is- again- light on the lore I would imagine the inqusition would refuse his re-entry into the ultramarines. Especially considering how it technically is his fault that chaos even ended up in Space Marine 1.
