Game is heavily CPU limited, but it's perfectly possible just don't expect more than 120-130fps which is where 7800x3d/9800x3d will take you.
gpu: rtx 4070ti
I have DLSS on set to quality and run on a 1440p monitor. I have everything default or high settings. The exceptions are I turn off motion blur because I never like it in any game and turn volumetrics to low. I have the game set to 90fps and it stays locked there. No dips or drops during even intense action on the screen.
1440p/Max/DLSS Quality.
If I go to native I can hold 90 locked in PvP, but in operations it starts drawing too much power for my liking, so for pve I use quality.
if you get an AM5 motherboard definitely get the new 9800X3D
From my observations when I had overlay on, it would run 90ish +/- 5 most of the time, sometimes would go above 100, 120 even. Yes, not the definition of stable I suppose, but I have no issues with that. Also, playing on Ultra settings, but 1080p. I suppose it would not be much worse on 1440p though as CPU seems to be limiting factor for me.
