Will there be Female presets?

I'm all for playing as a badass giant space marine, but will there be an option on say multiplayer or coop to make female presets for us female players?

You can poke fun at the lore all you want, but the reality is when people stop being able to take the lore's serious aspects seriously, the lore dies.

Look at Star Wars' recent "power of one, two, three" sequence in Acolyte. Was that 'really' any more ridiculous than the most ridiculous aspects of Star Wars' golden era? Such as Furry Vietnam? Where literal Furbies with Guns took out Imperial Storm Troopers?

Nope, but the difference is that the lore felt authentic 'to itself' back then.

The Sisters of Battle exist 'as' Female Space Marines, that's their entire shtick. if suddenly Space Marines are fifty-percent female, the Sisters of Battle lose their purpose.

Why paint a Sisters army, or bother fussing with their lore, when the Femme Marines do it all better anyway?

I'm merely pointing out, to imply that 40k is "deep and serious" is a hilarious take due to all the silly ♥♥♥♥ in it. Like yeah, it's deep. You can find extensive lore behind a space klepto. Or find a daemon named "Slappity Bilepiper"

As far as I can tell, the Acolyte stuff still holds up to lore. It's just people who keep "leaving Star Wars because it's w oke!" who keep insisting it doesn't. Though I do wish they did that chant in a different language. Stuff in English just, doesn't always work out well.

I think you're vastly simplifying the Sisters there. As when I first saw them, I didn't even think Space Marine. I just thought religious fanatics. Hence all the church stuff.

I mean, that argument could be made for Imperial Guard as well. Why bother painting Guardsmen when the Sisters of Battle are better in every aspect. The secret is due to "aesthetic". I personally don't jive with the super mega church themes and their torture baby carrier walkers. So I don't collect em. I jive with heavily armored fellows, so I have marines. On another note, one thing I have learned about franchises is to not love them, to enjoy them while they are still good, but everything dies eventually, once you realize that, it gets easier to move to another franchise, so fun never ends.

Plus things like adding females, and race swapping fictional characters doesn't bother me too much. I mean, as long as the characters act like they are suppose to act, it's fine.

But if it feels like pandering, oh heck no. Imagine, they make Superman a black dude, and instead of having him fall down to earth in a little farm in Smallville, he falls down in the backyard of some lady in Compton, who just so happens to be a single mother, and a member of the Black Lives Matter movement. Now we got a problem. LOL!

They're a minority. And your statement totally disregarded what I said.

They have been threatening to boycott and abandon GW for the longest time. **The longest. Time**.

They didn't disappear with the total Necron rework, they didn't leave with the addition of the Primaris, they didn't leave over the retcons to the Horus Heresy, the "character assassinations", the Female Custodes, the Squats, etc.

They won't leave. It's just hot air garbage, nothing-threats.

And the few who did got permanently banned the instant they tried to toxicly invade another IP.

Yes, they are silly war dolls, but the lore is incredibly deep and serious - for all of its nonsense. If people can't take the lore seriously, what's even the point?

And again, if there are female Space Marines, that dilutes to the point of irrelevance the Sisters of Battle (who are themselves a fan favorite faction).
