Unlike you brother, they cannot even defend their own heresy, how could they defend the Imperium?
Perhaps they are defending something else entirely, certainly not the Imperium, I doubt the Emperor cares about the skin tones of His legions. He even changes his own skin color from pale, to light, to dark, heck, in The Emperor of Mankind, the Emperor at one point had very dark skin. And at other times he was light. He is the physical representation of all humans, and all their forms, all at once.
Ain't that awesome? Damn, I love 40k.
Astartes skin can go darker to protect them from radiation due to the Melanochrome implant. But this doesn't cause their skin to go 'pale given enough time.'
Mutations in the Melanochrome can cause variations of skin color in different Chapters. Most notably the pale skin of the Raven Guard, and black skin of the Salamanders. But this is the exception, not the norm, and it certainly doesn't affect the Ultramarines.
nah he is right you are just braindead, black space marines have always been a thing. There are codexes from 2 decades ago featuring black astartes. Get over yourself u lil' racist.
I like having a diverse cast of characters, some parts of "wokeness" aren't that bad, lol.
I mean, if anything they just change based upon environment if they're functioning properly.
"‘Poison… against poison…’ he gasped as the scalding death hit his exposed skin. He stood in the middle of the cloud, a fresh clash of pain erupting in his body as his genhanced biology absorbed the radiation. His melanchromic organ went into overdrive, his skin pigments blackening instantly."

Lots of great arguments for and against the topic yet still staying on topic.
Spoken like a true person-who-played-war hammer-once-and-doesn’t-know-what-they’re-talking-about
Custodes never sacrificed themselves for anything. They got devastated in the web way battles during the heresy, but never “sacrificed” themselves. Nonsense. And skin colour? Salamanders.
Go do some reading.
Checkmate, racists.
