The words on the paper look nice, but the physical manifestation of them are lame.

I.E - Promising a Salamander champion only to make it a freaking sniper cuz we all know the Salamanders are SUPER well know for their snipers.

Quick look at the reviews show all of the positive come from when it first released not because of any updates and guaranteed over half already forgot about this game and moved on.

That's completely not true and easily verifiable. We can just look with our eyes. The initial review score right when it came out was at 79% positive. Almost every data point after has a higher positive review percentage than that.

Maybe you should use a bit more of your brain and look at the actual number of reviews instead of taking the quick option of just looking at the %.....

The game has been out for less than half a year, and we already received updates on a near monthly basis.
There's certainly an argument to be made that it could have launched with more content, but calling the update frequency slow is both disengenious and simply wrong.
