Yeah, "a lot" was a poor choice of words on my part. Currently it's only around 75 games that support DLSS overrides.
There's likely plenty more to come, we are only on day 2 after all. Sooner then later would be preferred of course, but I don't know what the process is for approving overrides or if it takes any input from the game developers side.
You have to turn off EAC and play offline. EAC wont accept the use of modified dlss files (and if it does launch it will actually remove the dlss option).
I would expect a month until they do it, but hopefully less. Maybe with update 7.0 They added dlss 3.0 about a month after launch iirc
No, it doesn't. The only advantage that lossless scaling has is that it is almost entirely hardware and software agnostic. That comes at a cost of quality.
It took them 3 months to add frame gen, something that should have been included at launch. So make of that what you will.
This time it's mainly a DLL swap not a new technology (game had no frame gen prior), sure they need to test if anything breaks but I have seen people use DLSS swapper while bypassing easy anti cheat and it seems to work just fine.
I tried using dlss swapper and it broke in game dlss for me(it only switches between fsr and taa).
so how do people use dlss 4 with this ?
Previous patch if you open some interface such as opening "Objectives", you can see Frame Gen not working and FPS drop down a lot, before working again once Objective screen is closed.
